She was a Karen through and through. She kept asking the same questions and bothering these guys while trying to inject her morality. I don't know why people feel the need to confront other people minding their own business.

@@tek87 to be fair, there probably aren’t many people that fish in Central Park. So it’s probably and oddity for her to see it happen. It seems she didn’t know much about fishing, I think she handled herself fine, wasn’t disrespectful. Had genuine concern at first, which then translates into curiosity. Assume the positive in people my guy, not the negative.

@@tek87 well, in her mind they're not minding their business, they're "hurting" a defenseless animal. To me it seemed like she was repeating herself because she had a long held belief that fishing would hurt the fish, so she was looking for an answer that would confirm her bias. That's pretty normal human behavior. People don't just change their belief after one answer by someone they don't trust. Definitely much better, than screaming and telling them how evil they are for not being vegan or whatever.

Jon's experiences with fishing in Canada have made him so casual with transitioning between American and US Geography and it's really admirable. Your videos are on another level. Nice work
You need to have a video just on your experience towing that boat across America. I’ve said this before and I’m gonna say it in every episode going forward. You must have so much valuable data in your head to be extracted. I know you went all out and got a new three-quarter ton diesel. I wonder if you regret it or if you if you think it was the right decision? It’s overkill and overkill is good in my opinion. It’s great seeing you guys spending all that money to entertain us, and I hope you get it all back and more. Keep fishing Never stop.

My buddy and I used to do some hard hiking to fish lakes in souther and central Cali. Definitely some big bass to be caught. We did our best to live off trout on a 4-day backpacking trip once (years later I learned there are like no calories in 1 trout). Tuna, peanut butter, and beer saved us. Best part about carrying a 30rack of Budweiser through the Sierra is it gets lighter every day.
