Shoreline is pretty tuff but charter fishing the ocean will get you some biggies. There’s freshwater fishing in Hawaii, just gotta do your research

OHIO FOR SURE!!!! Lakes all over and a huge variety of freshwater fish. Lake Erie, plenty of rivers in cities for a bit of an urban action, and everything is so easily accessible. From bass to trout to monster catfish, it’s a great option

Idk if id say we have the most finicky or precise methods needed to catch bass... I've always had good luck with a cinnamon lunker log.. and I've caught some monsters for the size of the ponds I've spent most my time

I grew up near the James river and have caught some great cats out there

georgia, my favorite fishing state of the south, good trout, bass, and catfish

California, there is so many lakes an reservoirs. I would suggest New Melones Lake. Huge!! You’ll need a boat.

Go to Oregon and go to the John day river! Best small mouth fishing I’ve ever been to, you can catch probably 100 fish in a few hours, absolutely loaded!

Come to Pennsylvania and not Erie PA but either north-central or east central PA. So either the Pine Creek or Susquehanna river.

Washington has got to be one of the worst especially for bass

I'm from England but I have a huge part of my family in DFW. I visited there in Feb, took my fly rods and fished the Trinity, and Mary's Creek. It was tough going but Mary's Creek had some big fish cruising around. I'd love to see more videos in DFW.

Oregon. I can take you too a secret lake that multiple people have caught 10 lb bass and lots of 8's and 9's. the average sized bass is over 3lbs

OKLAHOMA!! HEAD UP 1 STATE NORTH OF YOU. Oklahoma has a ton of shoreline and more then a lot of states and countries and i believe top 5 in US now that other states caught up but pretty water. Tons of creeks, Rivers, ponds, lakes, reservoirs whatever. Smallies, huge Catfish for Noodling, spoonbill, crappie, big striper, big sandies, walleye, gar, almost anything. Oklahoma has incredibly clean water in some areas. Spavinaw, Illinois River, blue hole, grand lake, tenkiller and plenty others bc we have tons of shoreline

Northern AZ small and large creeks, lakes which you had catching pike near Flagstaff.

Livin near that area. Been lookin for a new spot for a while, loving this idea and lookin forward to hittin up the spots in this vid🙏

California , areas los Banos dam and creek areas sturgeon, multiple 60lb+ striped bass , a few miles away are the sloughs amazing I've had aggressive carp up to 15 lbs strike my jigs and I have caught 70 bass in one day there. Then you have the areas in the national parks like bass lake don Pedro etc. Plenty of great fishing out here. Even the canals man the canals are loaded

Hell yeah takes me back to you pond hopping Illinois brother💪👍

Idaho would be an awesome series, you can go into the lowland desert and catch white sturgeon, catfish, bass and trout. Just a few hours from that you can be up in the mountains targeting grayling, and up north has some legendary smallmouth fishing.

Definitely need to go to MN. Twin cities is full of fishable lakes. Rochester, MN also has good lakes for largemouth and decent smallie fishing in the streams.

My fishing addiction transferred to salt water, but man, I love some Jon B content even if its freshwater. Those small swimbaits you can put on jigs and such are deadly. Ive had my best success with them at pressured fishing spots.

You should go to Cape Cod and fish some of the amazing largemouth and smallmouth ponds they have!

Eh. The trout and sturgeon are cool but that's all you have. Not a ton of bass and the quality of them isn't that good, not many catfish, not many anything really.

@@eh1918people tend to think this but there’s actually quite a few warm water species that thrive from May to early September! And salmon fishing here can be world class. Buoy 10 on the Columbia for example! My personal pb largemouth is a 6 pounder that came out of a 1 acre pond. Don’t sell Oregon short :)

come to California and you can fish Clearlake or trinity or spawning bass, there is genuinely huge fish here.

Please come to Maryland!!! We have amazing lakes and reservoirs as well as cool Appalachian streams and massive rivers like the Potomac and many others. It also has the Chesapeake bay and the ocean right there too!!

Years ago when we were drifting at TMS, we caught bass at that first pond you visited. I'd like to see you do a casual pop in again if you're ever in the area.

Around searcy arkansas. Beautiful creeks rivers and lakes. Have done a lot of wade fishing in the creek and caught quality bass. A lot of trout as well.

@@corrienye7081 yes I agree everything is expensive and out of control I wouldn’t recommend visiting big city areas. But there’s many big fish opportunities to be made,the world record spotted bass was caught in Bullards Bar Reservoir,not to mention Clearlake,Lake Berryessa and the delta.

Pennsylvania would be tough for ya we got all types of fish especially if you count lake Erie and all the streams with trout and smallies

spot #4, Bear Creek park get stocked a few a time per year with trouts and catfish. But other than within the few days after getting stocked, it's sucks, lol. Full of ducks and tree roots.

Toledo Bend Reservoir, Louisiana; its a lake that was part of the Bass Pro Shops Elite Series of 2024. It has cypress trees, the fish they have are Largemouth, Warmouth, Crappie, Pike, Blue Catfish, Alligator Gar, and Walleye, Bluegill, Rio Grande Cichlid, Silver Carp, White Bass, Stripped Bass and Shellcracker !!! (Ps: I’ll be in Toledo Bend next weekend this summer fishing for both crappie and bass on my friends boat if the weather is nice and decant unless there’s no rain that weekend which me luck) …Keep fishing Jon.B, Never Stop!!!!
