Fishing 101: DIY Rod holders

Ойын-сауық

Picture it!! You’re a bank fisherman/fisherwoman and you’re trying to discover if there is a such thing as the perfect rod holder!! Utilizing some good ole’ PVC pipe, metal stakes and some hose clamps, I’ve taken ordinary items and turned them into a tool for fishing. Following the steps in this video, you can do the same thing as well. It really is easy as 1, 2 and 3. Would like to give a shoutout to Kevin with the Fishing Adventures of Catterman for the inspiration behind the design!! Also a very special happy birthday to my man, J Crews because this video is dropping on his birthday, so this video is dedicated to J Crews!!

Awesome! Thanks for the shout-out homie. I like how you added your own touch to them. These are the ultimate rod holders and are super strong, not even a 40lb cat will move these. 🤘😎

That's the only way to go to PVC Schedule 40. At least in most cases and a very good rod holder like you said they do not come out of the ground. By the way I lost a ride just like you I still haven't gotten over that and it's been 20 years ago. Due to a cheap rod holder. Also wanted to say I hope you ain't get no overspray on the house. The wife wouldn't be too happy LOL tightlines my friend

I’ve lost enough rods to big fish 🤣🤣, surprisingly I’ve gotten them all back too. I was just tired of the cheap Y rod holders at dicks braking on me

Man, this is great stuff! Also gives me an idea to make a combo rod holder and rod storage out of PVC...I'm gonna have to think on how to make that work, but I LOVE this idea!

That used to be my mindset, but those cheap $4 rod holders break, bend or warp in some type of way every couple months. These rod holders I made over 2 years ago and they’re still lasting
