The omega-3 plant in Abbeville is a pogey processing plant. So if they are making fish oil pills. That means you ultimately take pogey juice pills and redfish love pogeys

Glad to se the Max-X in action. Love my Black Max reels. May have to try one of those X reels. I fish small lakes in west central Florida and will give the fish oil a try. Nice fun video,

I use scent by a brand called Lip Glu. They offer a liquid and a gel. Both work great but I tend to use their sticky gel more with incredible results!

I started using fish oil pills in a cheese based stink bait I was making for catfish which caught plenty of fish. This year I want to try it on orange pompoms for steelhead as fake spawn.

@@PelicanBoneOutdoors cool. I saw a video of a guy that simmered coconut oil with anchovies and he used it on lures and caught fish. That means there are a lot of possibilities for homemade fish scent.

I’m gonna try the capsule itself with maybe a couple pin holes on my next catfish trip at my camp on Lake Verret… I tried little 1/4” chunks of beef melt with my partner using worms a while back and the melt was better by about 3 to 2. I’ll let you know the omega results in a couple weeks.

i recently made my own bait with velveeta (outdated in the fridge), crushed garlic, garlic salt, and i added omega 3 pills. hopefully i can catch something on it. fishing for trout family, Maine.

Ya need to do a blind taste test. Fish some with a unscented bait then fish with a scented bait, see if there is a difference. Nothing prettier than a south La. red fish.

The ole lady always complained about my trapping lures an bait lol she was like nope. Best soak them hands boy she would say after skinning for a couple hours. 14:55

Question did they not have the fish oil in a bottle??? You can get just fish oil. I use mineral oil and mix in the scent I want. I want to try fish oil with various scents mixed in.

@@PelicanBoneOutdoors lol ok makes sense then just used what ya had. Yea definitely get a bottle it's much easier to just add a couple drops to a pack or a zip lock bag with what you'll use that day

I bought some Healthy Care fish oil 1000mg omega-3 capsules and they stink just likë old fish. SO YUMMY!

Use the crawfish with the hole in the center of the body. Now you can stuff it with any juice scent oil cotton balls you want. Now? Your bottom bouncing with massive rainbows bubbling up. Let crawfish rot in a bucket with a bit ot minhaden oil. Now it looks real,feels real,taste real,and puts off massive scent trail of fish/real crawfish. They smell steong craw scent rotten.

SAVE THE BASS EAT MORE ALLIGATOR!!! We could have some huge bass here in Louisiana if people would catch and release a little more like you did. Don't get me wrong I keep some because they are tasty, but i release more than I keep, glad to see you doing the same.
