Before watching, just a heads up that we had a few technical issues with this episode, and being the perfectionist I am, it is not acceptable and won't happen again. Almost everyone is their own critic… so please don’t be so hard on yourself…. I think the moving of an entire homes contents is a reason that any reasonable person would also understand. How about giving yourself a pat on the back instead because of the fact you’ve put out a video each week on top of the entire movement of a homes contents. Good on you for your hard work and commitment to your audience. GLHF!

better than the times i got leyline out. literally every time i got land screwed. i'm so convinced my leyline is cursed that i have it set aside in a binder and don't plan on letting it out ever.

Micheal not taking the 3 health damage for that 2nd land coming in untaped. (Small cheating) later in video did not matter he draw all his cards before going to 3.

You guys are such a breath of fresh air. You prioritize fun and obscure commanders and I love it. I have so much competitive fatigue from other content creators.

We don't talk about Ru-no-no-no. We don't talk about Runo! I love seeing Runo take to the field in a video with some of my favourite players! A couple of small things: Lexi could've made token copies of Gyruda to get their ETB effects and then sacked the copies and kept the original. Also, when she attacked Olivia she should have made two copies of the big fish, not just one (Runo rules!) Lovely game with some lovely folks and excellent vibes. Keep 'em coming!

It's not even that she _could_ have done, Runo's not a may ability - she had to make a copy of one of them.

Just a note for future reference, if a creature "must attack if able" but there is a ghostly prison (or similar tax effect) out they are not required to pay for it even if they have open mana. It doesn't force them to jump through any additional hoops in order to attack.

just to clarify 508.1D "The active player checks each creature they control to see whether it’s affected by any requirements (effects that say a creature attacks if able, or that it attacks if some condition is met). If the number of requirements that are being obeyed is fewer than the maximum possible number of requirements that could be obeyed without disobeying any restrictions, the declaration of attackers is illegal. >> If a creature can’t attack unless a player pays a cost, that player is not required to pay that cost, even if attacking with that creature would increase the number of requirements being obeyed.

I love seeing a Todd go from humble to swole....

Having that second token copy of the Stormtide Leviathan that should have been made from the Krothuss trigger would have been so clutch. Fun episode to watch. Very obvious enjoyment from the players makes this so good.

I absolutely love the energy you lovelies bring to each game. You're the kind of people I enjoy being around and win or lose you all just have a good time. The way it should be :)

those guest really tend to forget lifelink (in this case cause teysa gives tokens lifelink AND vigilance) could have change a few things ;)

Lexi should be on every episode! She's a great player and so much fun!

Oh yeah!! Absolutely forgot to copy the salamanders AND the humble defector hehe. I was so focused on the cute/terrifying sea creatures!! it usually overperforms and I’m able to get some WILD CREATURES and copies out!!

Finally got a chance to watch an ep of Elder Dragon Hijinks! This is so good!!!

OMG Michael Crits!!! Freaking awesome. So glad to see you had him on.

Just four misplays I noticed: Lexi plays a Myriad Landscape untapped, and uses it immediately to cast a spell. Should come into play tapped. Olivia plays Profane Transfusion at the end of declare blockers step but it's a sorcery, cannot be played at instant speed. And when Olivia attacks Lexi with Combat Calligrapher, she should get a tapped and attacking Inkling (it says 'whenever a player attacks one of your opponents'). Lexi later blocks Shalai with Hullbreaker Horror, but Shalai has flying and Hullbreaker has neither flying nor reach, so it can't block Shalai. Loved to game! Didn't see any noticeable technical issues. Enjoyed watching as usual. Keep going strong!

Olivia has leyline of anticipation

Maze of ith doesn't remove the creature from combat, it untaps that creature and prevents all damage that would be dealt to and dealt by the creature. Just FYI 😂

You know it's a good show when pets routinely interrupt the gameplay haha!

That vampire commander is one I really should add to my Markov deck. She does well.

Props to Olivia for real, truly a sweet deck girl. Might have to steal that one but I'll name it after you.

I love this series! The guests and hosts are always so cool!! One suggestion which i know might not be possible - Could there be some kind of explanation (like text) for global effects at some point? I'm a casual player and I was kind of not sure how stuff works with each other with all the creature dying causes x effects

Great game. Attack if able doesn't work with Propaganda effects though. It doesn't force you to pay, so you are actually unable to attack.

Just an fyi 42:32 runo still triggers and you could make two copies of gyruda. Gurudas etbs would still trigger so everyone lexi included would have milled 4 and she would have put an even mana cost creature on the battlefield twice

Note: you can not force someone to pay mana for Propaganda. This means that creatures that “must attack” can just not pay. (Assuming all remaining opponents have a Propaganda effect)

Lexi WHYYYYY you had one of the coolest combo of the game but didn't use it 😱 All you had to do is use your flip commander and attack with both commander and Gyruda the triggers start you copy Gyruda both time now legendary rule come into effect you still get the Gyruda ETB trigger then sack the legendary token it trigger again for 2nd ETB trigger then sack the legendary token you missed a HUGE opportunity to get a boat load of free creature this could have change your whole game maybe even a win if not better shot would have been a AWESOME mill session lol 😅

if ghostly is on the field and your creatures are goated you do not have to attack bc goad does not force you to pay for ghostly prison cost bc its a may ability even if you have the mana you dont have to attack unless the goad says specifically you have to pay costs if able this is a fun lock i like playing with gideon jura. locks down an opponent from attacking at all unless they pay to attack gideon. and they cant attack other players either bc of gideon.
