Joey was so magnificently sassy for this episode. He played out the secret Scooby Doo villain perfectly.

Joey's one liners are devastating

Shivan said that he made 160+ soldiers, so with battle cry, they start attacking as 2/1s, then with the Shared Animosity enchantment, they also get at least +160/+0 on attack, not counting for the non tokens soldiers and 2 blocks, Joey took roughly 25,600 damage.

So, precisely... Shivam had 37 creatures at the start of his upkeep. Then Assemble the Legion bumps to 2 counters and thus creates 4 tokens thanks to Procession, meaning 41 creatures. Then, Assembly rebounds, creating double that amount, for a total of 123 creatures, 122 of which are soldiers. Attacking with all of them, the Hero creates 4 more attacking soldiers. Then, every soldier gets +1 attack from the Warcry, and afterward, those that were there before the hero's trigger get another +125. So that 122 127/1, for a total of 15494 damage. 2 of them get blocked, goes does to 15240. Then there's "small" amount of damage from the Hero and the new tokens of 11, for a final damage count of 15251. Edit: I forgot Akroma's Memorial, so due to Flying, Joey wouldn't be able to block any (and even with it, trample would make it mostly pointless) so that'd be 15505 damage.

What amazes me about this channel is how the games are not only filled with fun players and fantastic banter but the games are pretty much always interesting and competitive! Sadly not many other channels can combine fun players and good games.

I saw the title before I saw who was in the episode, and as soon as I saw the mimeoplasm is in this I said out loud “oh I bet that’s Joey” 😄

What a great game. Olivia is always spicier when tired. Makes for a hilarious game. Love the rule zero no board wipes for a faster game agreement. That’s the way to make commander fun.

"We want a fast game!" *looks at the timestamp* "...Oh."

An hour is very fast for a casual commander game most games last at least 9 turns and if there's a green or blue player at the table chances are they will take way more time up than the rest of the table.

Having a soldier deck of my own, there really is nothing like looking across the table and saying, I attack with an entire line company's worth of soldier tokens with Coat of Arms for +225/+225, some vigilence, and some double strike. Oh it feels so good.

I'm so happy I got to see Shivam's Tajic's deck. It's so funny. I want more Shivam everywhere

I was screaming, cheering for Joey at the end… and then I was Mortified (like the card). What a double rug sweep!

I'm glad to see my girl Galea doing some real work!!! And Edgar is always the threat, no matter what!!!

Great episode, fun game, by the end of the episode, it was not known who would win. Everyone had their 5 minutes to shine.

How does Joey always look so dapper. Although Shivam has stolen my heart with his Boros Soldiers deck!

So nice to see Shivam's much heard Tajic deck win. I know I shouldn't but feel sorry for Olivia's early departure 😜

Olivia is usually right most of the time, despite how she gets treated, one of her strongest traits is that she has really good threat assessment. I’ve seen this happen alot, when i watch your videos, the command zone, table top jocks ect. Yall really be bullying her and she be chillin’ and playing fair, wholesome magic.

While I agree with you, she also brings some of the finest snark I've ever seen on Commander, and I think that keeps more focus directed towards her. Which is great, except that it lets SLEAZY SOLDIER decks snowball out of control. :)

That was epic. Shivam's last attack is so much damage for a non-infinite interaction it's hilarious (a little over 150 creatures all gaining +a little over 150/+ a little over 150 means they smacked for something above 20,000).

This is a great game to illustrate the importance of board wipes, but was a blast to see.

Another fantastic episode!! Overtired Olivia is hilarious!!

I hope Olivia is getting rest, but man, that constant state of yolo was so fun to watch!

I love a voltron deck, just because of the word voltron. But since I built my first voltron deck (Bruenor), I love them even more. But since then, (in my group) every time my commander enters the battlefield I become the archenemy

Politics were a big part of this game and it was super fun!

Great win with 420 and 69 damage from soldiers' tokens? Love to see it...wow this was a spicy ending.

When Joey gets the 15/15 Jodah’s Avenger/Mimeoplasm destroyed is exactly why I only play commanders that do something essentially immediately.

I loved this game because I feel like the table talk was much more important than the power of the cards (even though the cards were really powerful).

I would feel like joey: "i did a thing!" "Oh you are doing a lot of things👀"

This was fun, interesting game

Haha Olivia is just the best. "I dont have glasses and everything hurts. Pass."

Eilidh playing with another one of my favorite commanders, Edgar! That is the deck I have spent the most time and $$ trying to make great.

Should give board wipes "Not Real Cycling 2) It won't trigger cycling synergies but will let you dump board wipes

What a spicy game and a wild finish! With a no wipe rule I can understand all the deck choices. Poor Olivia was such the focus early on (and I get it cause voltron be voltron) but... Seeing Shivam go wide AND tall was pretty nuts! I looked at the decklist and didn't see a Massacre Wurm that Joey teased.. I guess that was a joke? Did you all take out your boardwipes then as the decklists still have them. Anyway great game keep up the awesome content! x

We just ruled that if you drew into a wipe, you can discard it and draw a new card. Never came up though

I've seen plenty of token decks in my time but wow, Shivam had a _ton_ of tokens on that there playmat. Unfortunately, math really isn't my thing but I'll take a stab at it. I'm going to say Joey took somewhere around... Graham's number in damage (that's a whole big bunch-a-damage).

Mr. Markov definitely teaches math. He would count random things in the classroom like vampire tokens and life points gained and lost due to the delinquent students that love to “paint with blood” and “cut throats”.

I think somebody out there is using a count from sesame Street alter sleeve on Edgar.. 1 token ha ha 2 tokens ha ha I also wish I was confidant enough to purchase a Edgar from cardmarket instead of using Licia 🙈 but £80 on one card is hard to justify

I feel sad bad for Olivia. Everyone hyper focused on her rather than the Edgar player who can steal the threat everyone is losing their mind over with Haste. I would be so mad. She's at 4, everyone has drain/ping/go wide that kills her, but ignores her telling them that. Absolutely brain dead threat assessment.

Oh, please don't feel bad for me! I play all the time, talk mad trash and it's all good :) sometimes the fun comes from dunking on someone only to die yourself the next turn 🤣

If Eminence is a "dumb mechanic", why do you have a deck built around it? It's definitely unfair and busted, but calling the main thing you're doing a "dumb mechanic" doesn't help your case 🤷
