Kiki A we just need someone who can promote it. If we keep bringing in players like Ma’a Nonu to play In the MLR (Major League Rugby the top pro league in America) it will garner more fans. Our youth rugby is growing, slowly but still growing nonetheless. I have high hopes. Might be another 30yrs before it gets to where I want it to be but I’ll wait.

Imagine if Americas main sport was Rugby. You could only imagine how dominant they would be. They got some big boys over there too.

@@TSB43 I hope so. Right now the big names in rugby are really not big names in the US across the board because it just isn't a popular sport....as of now. I hope it does get more popular because I'd rather watch rugby over the other US sports any day.

Kiki A I was talking about players after they leave super rugby or other pro rugby. USA rugby is like the Big 3 compared to the NBA. I’m fine taking the older heads bc they will help grow the sport not only in popularity but knowledge and experience for local players. We’ve come a long way in just the last 20yrs but it’s still a longer climb to get to the potential we all know it can be.

NZ rugby is the future 😁 Super rugby Aotearoa is leagues ahead of any other competition. 1st XV College rugby is outstanding week in week out.

I see a comments about the size of South African schools boys, don't deny it they're big, but geez the skill level of these boys, the passing, off loading in tackles one handed and the continuity. Those are the things we nurture in our rugby, quality skill and imposing your game will go along to winning.

I played the sbhs u14 teams last week, we absolutely rolled them.

Possibly but only because they are so much bigger than the kiwi kids. As they become adults that size advantage disappears and the more skilled kiwi players then start to dominate.

Yeah cause thses are South island schools, Grey college beat southland like 50-0 but also Paarl Boys lost to Christchurch Boys but grey college game that was a mismatch, they need to play top Super 8 or Auckland 1A schools Notrh Island Schools
