As it happens I was at the game. Bloody cold not helped by a hangover due to the OBHS anniversary celebrations taking place that weekend. McKenzies try was a thing of beauty

Oh I do love the passion of rugby at this level!

Small stature of a guy who doesn't shy away from contact, takes it head on!!

I feel for McKenzie , in every other country he would be the fullback at international level but he always misses out on making the all blacks starting fullback role. Dagg Ben smith Beauden Barret Jordie Barret these are just some of the players who McKenzie has had to compete with for the 15 jumper over the years

McKenzie is the perfect impact sub, finding gaps when the opposition legs are tired. And then you can choose where he is best to deploy him at wing, 10 or 15.

My dad played that same position for the same team

Christs played with an incredible tailwind in the first half hence the score at half time. Otago Boys High came back in the second with the wind and won (in their 150th celebration). I was there. McKenzie is great but OBHS was way better! :-)

The boys in these teams are mainly 16 and 17. Down south kids don’t stay in school until they’re 19.....I bet your SA school teams have quite a few slow learners who have to stay in school a little longer 🤣🤣😉👍
