The before and after transformations after Larry's magic touch is incredible and never gets old to watch. And only Larry goes to the extremes of polishing the brake calipers on a car haha. Just goes to show the meticulous detail Larry goes to when detailing a vehicle.

Great video! This is my second favorite Lamborghini. When you were talking about how the car seems intimidating when you see and hear it, but once you sit in it and drive it, it is fun and approachable, it made me think of back in 2005 when I got to drive a Jaguar Type-C and how once I sat in it and started driving, it was like second nature to me, even though I had never driven a right-hand drive car before (at the time I had only had my licence for 4 months), and I still smile every time I think of it. Bonus is that it was the first time I got to drive a car from my dads work and he was with me as a passenger, and he was all smiles. I really miss him.

It may sound odd. But the thing I love the most about these old Lamborghinis, especially the diablo and the countach, is that they look absolutely huge on video until someone walks next to it. They look so tiny with a person standing next to them. Really speaks to that "larger than life" persona these cars have.

The car that had that effect on me was the Aston Martin Lagonda sedan. I saw one new in the dealership in about 1980 and the grille in the front was just a bit larger than my wallet opened up. But even with my wallet opened up ALLL the way, I still wasn't coming close to buying that thing at $125k+. At the time, you could buy a pretty nice house for that. It looked to me like a Sedan DeVille and a Ferrari had had sex and this was their offspring.

I'm also really glad you touched on the point about the clay marring!! I've been constantly trying to educate people about this for years...to little avail. I guess being a smaller channel with less reach, it is harder, and people don't take you as seriously.. A few popular DIY oriented channels promote regular claying, almost as part of every wash, with minimal to no lubrication as well - Shocking!! Of course, they are selling their clay towels... 🤑🤑 I'm glad someone who's as highly respected, and highly viewed as you, is educating people. Doing the lords work! Keep it up.

hey great videos. you've taught me how to do many things correctly over the years. I'm wondering why you haven't implemented a synthetic clay towel like the ones from the Rag Co. or DIY detail.. they don't mar or scratch the clear coat while effectively decanting. you should get some from Iyvan Lacroix! they are amazing.

A wire brush/drill combo would strip those exhaust tips fast. I would try a Dremel/wire wheel combo for the tight spots. Keep doing the Lord's work!

What brand pressure washer hose do you use? Mine always gets so tangled and kinked. It was not a cheap one either.

Hi Larry, watching your vids inspired me to start taking better care of my vehicles. My old civic was beat up for a long time. Got a new car and was able to do some pretty thorough detailing on the civic myself to try and get a decent price for it. But I have a question, is there any reason why you use the metro vac blower instead of the air compressor? Air compressor and upgraded vacuum are on my tool wishlist. I'd really only use the compressor on a semi-regular basis for blowing out water of cracks when drying, or to pressurize my ik foamer. I feel like I've seen you use the air compressor for drying before so just wondering why you went with the metro vac now

Hey I use both depending on the application. The vacuum + blower capabilities of the Metro Vac work really well and not as aggressive as my compressor.
