Well, technically, the Third War for Armageddon was the Fifth War for Armageddon, the First War for Armageddon was the Third, and it was also the only one that wasn't fought against the Orks. The First was when the Emperor fought and defeated the largest Ork empire ever known at Ullanor, which would eventually be called Armageddon. Later, when Ullanor became the stronghold of The Beast, the second war for Ullanor was fought and ended there (eventually). Then when Angron invaded, etc. Then Ghazkull etc. Then Ghazkull again, etc. Probably the Fourth (or Sixth) War for Armageddon will be Ghazkull/the Orks vs. Angron (and Khorne) vs. EVERYBODY ELSE. The Inquisition would have loved to declare the Space Wolves as traitors. However, since like you said, they're a Founding Chapter of the Astartes. Everyone would want to know why. I imagine the Iron Hands would just roll their eyes and do it because they weren't hugged enough when they were younger, but the Salamanders would probably find out why and throw in with the Wolves. Probably the White Scars too. The Imperial Fists & Ultramarines would probably come in on the Inquisition's side out of duty, but they wouldn't like it. The Raven Guard would sit it out. The Dark Angels would pile in on the Wolves to prove how loyal they were (nope, we're not over-compensating for anything nope-nope, by the way stop asking us questions). The Blood Angels...if they sat it out, it would only be because they have their own problems, but any Inquisitor who found themselves alone amongst their number would rapidly go "missing in action" at the earliest opportunity.
