Side saddle very elegant!

One of my most beloved still pictures is the one of her in color saluting in her uniform on her horse.

The Queen Elizabeth at the starting of her reign. A powerful steady figure. Elizabeth ll must have enjoyed this, her love of horses. She is missed.

Even after all these years, it’s just as brilliant then as it is now. The Queen is riding Winston but she rode Burmese for 17 years, who is now buried at Windsor. To ride side saddle is a very difficult way of riding and the Queen looks very comfortable. We have seen all the future of the Royal family, what a wonderful Queen she was for 70 years. God save the King, which means a lot now. ❤

Such a young beautiful Queen, so splendid in uniform. Britain should be proud!

Watching this after King Charles III first Trooping the Colour. Queen Elizabeth looked stunning.

Winston wasn’t it was Burmese that she rode for 17 years a gift from Canada.

Princess Ann looks almost the same as her Mom that passed away a few months ago. May she rest in peace. Beautiful parade also. Also, how she corrects her horse is amazing, look closely, extraordinary.

Most of those soldiers will no longer with us R.I.P to them All and who would have thought 70 years later she is still trooping the colour maybe not on horse back but still with us she marvelous is our queen

Me dad used to take me and I would sit on his shoulders. I wonder if we were there I would have been 7 then.😊

The world I was born into; not a 'diversity barrier' to be seen, and police who don't look like rejects from a drug rehabilitation centre.
