    All the senior ranks on here would have seen service in ww2, sad to think none of them will be alive today.

    My dad was there somewere taking part he to was a grenerdiar gaurd well proud of him as his 63 year son now .lost him sadly at 43 no age .but still proud .

    There trained better todays guys are fat sloppy and not nice to watch after the 1980s it went down hill.

    lol. Not only was there no McDonalds. There was still rationing in the austerity following WW2 in the UK. It didn't end until 1954!!!

    Long Live Elizabeth is the slow march for the inspection shown here. It reappeared in the program for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Birthday Parade in 2022 as the second neutral slow march.
