Except in Montreal in '81. There, the audience was so intimidated by the bouncers telling them to sit down and shut up (as per instructions from the company filming the entire two-night concert for the movie that's being shown internationally in selected IMax cinemas in the New Year,) only a very few brave souls joined in, leading to Freddie quietly commenting to Brian, "They don't know it."

Shout out to these amazing musicians that had the foresight to record each and every live performance on the highest quality film that was available, they were always innovative and insured their music will live on forever 👑

Such a beautiful song penned by Freddie!! It’s a special moment that he shares with the audience!! Saw Queen + Adam on Nov. 12th and Brian did the honors of singing lead with the audience!! All cell phones in the stadium were waving lights like stars in the night.🌟🌟 Then a hologram of Freddie singing the last verse appears on stage, everybody cheers, then I start my ugly crying immediately!! It’s a great moment!! Thank you!!

Once you 'Get' Queen...They become part of your soul and mental wallpaper. Although now in this 21st century there is so much mystique surrounding Queen, and particularly Freddie's legendary status...We who were privileged to see Queen perform live, knew instinctively that we were witnessing inimitable greatness. I was so very fortunate to attend several of their concerts in different parts of the world in the mid 80's...This band were the perfect storm, and Freddie was the God with pockets full of fairy dust, who ensured each and every ticket holder experienced the absolute time of their lives. Dear Freddie showed us inside his heart...and we will love him forever for it.❤

Queen is by far the most suggested band we've received since starting our reaction channel a few months ago - we already have a couple of others recorded and scheduled for release in the coming weeks. We absolutely love them and have become huge fans! Thank you so much for watching and commenting - happy new year!

Sadly we are the last generation, growing up with 60s/70s/80s and 90s music. With powerful live performances, not overpowered by a flashing show. . Sometimes even better than the studio versions.

If you think the audience participation is special in this performance, you should watch them perform the same song at Rock in Rio in 1985, where there is a crowd of between 300,000 and 500,000 (depending upon who you ask), whose first language is Portuguese... I suggest 'One Vision', live at Wembley in 1986... All four members of Queen were inducted individually into the Songwriters hall of fame in 2003...

I can only imagine how amazing that was!!

The studio version is wonderfully orchestral, harmonic & melodic. Queen, smartly, stripped it down to this live version that became a fan favorite sing-along because they couldn’t recreate the intricacies live. Please listen to the album track. It is lovely.

To be completely transparent, I saw you comment yesterday but was a bit surprised (and quite frankly shocked) by your willingness to post this in a public forum. First and foremost, I'm not sure why you felt it was necessary to reference his sexualality. Does it matter? The one thing that nearly ever human being strives for in life is to experience love - whether the person they realize that feeling from is male or female shouldn't matter. It has no impact on me, you or anyone else. In terms of Queen as a band - they were all fantastic and in every performance I've seen thus far, each one of them absoluately loved what they do - sharing their music and overwhelming talent with the world.
