Gen X Reactions

Gen X Reactions

From the outset, our aim was to craft something distinct and refreshingly unique. We didn't want to limit ourselves to mere reactions to music; instead, we aspire to share stories, life experiences, and extend an invitation to our family, friends, and fans to be a part of this experience.

In addition to this, our exclusive content is a perfect fit for my enthusiasm for video editing and post-production. While we don't typically resort to second takes during our initial recordings, I dedicate extra time to infuse each video with something special, often in the form of humor or thought-provoking elements.

Lastly, Michelle and I are newcomers to the world of content creation, and our limited experience has quickly blossomed into a genuine passion for this art form. We recognize that there is an abundance of reaction channels out there, so we're truly grateful to each and every one of you for joining us on this journey.

"The greatest show on Earth" (Live Wembley or Tampere 2015) is more than 20 minutes long. They normally do not have songs of "mainstream radio length". And although they normally are better live the music video of "Perfume of the timeless" from their newest album (release 20th September 2024) is worth watching. By the way, Tuomas (on keyboards) who composes and writes the lyrics of most Nightwish songs loves movie soundtracks and Disney (you can hear this in several NW songs) and it has been Metallica's music that changed his way from studying marine biology to music.

Papercut, from their first album, is a really good one to get a feel for their diverse sound style. People call them a nu metal band, mixing up various genres together. They kinda hated being labeled, so after their second studio album, they felt nu metal had been too specific a genre, so they started reinventing themselves for every album after. It really split their fandom, and a lot of people find themselves impressed, having not been Linkin Park fans prior. They're just generally talented musicians, so you might easily dismiss them because they seem too experimental or heavy, even though it's rare to dislike a song of theirs.

That concert was in the RED ROCKS AMPITHEATRE in which is about 15 miles from Denver. Look it up online to see photos of it, it's huge. Not sure what year this concert was. Have you ever seen the music VIDEO for this song? OR for "IN YOUR WILDEST DREAMS"? BOTH are GREAT videos and I am not sure if you know it, but "I KNOW YOUR OUT THERE SOMEWHERE" is actually a SEQUEL song (and so is the video) to "IN YOUR WILDEST DREAMS" IF you do a REACTION to their MUSIC VIDEO for both songs. Do "IN YOUR WILDEST DREAMS" first, THEN "I KNOW YOU'RE OUT THERE SOMEWHERE" where the VIDEO BEGINS, where the video for "WILDEST DREAMS," ENDS!!! It's pretty cool to watch them in sequence.

This is amusing to me because my 3 sons are all "Gen X" and they know about them. NO, it was NOT the end of some dramatic movie. This is how it was on the album it is from "Days of Future Passed" and it was how it was always was. It's an amazing album which came out in Nov. of 1967. I was in my Junior year at Kent State University at the time. The members of the Moody Blues that you see here that have died, are RAY THOMAS (who played the flute, and sang) died on Jan.4, 2018 a few days after his 76th birthday. Graeme Edge their drummer, passed away on Nov. 11, 2021 from cancer, at the age of 80. This concert in the video is from 2000.

The Bee Gees use to sell out large venues all the time! I believe Barry said they played before a crowd of 60,000 in Jakarta and go on line, search for live BEE GEES concerts and you’ll see massive crowds at every one of them.
