This is my favorite version of this song. The contrast in voices is beautiful. Peter in the higher tenor ranges & then paired with the true natural bass voice of Tim. And that last dragon's breath note is truly remarkable & how long he sustains it. Peter & Tim have collaborated on quite a few other songs & they are all beautiful. Peter is a master at layering voices. Peter & Tim have done "Sound Of Silence", "Bridge Over Troubled Water", "Greensleeves", "Fire & Rain", "Sunshine On My Shoulders", "Teach Your Children", "You Can Close Your Eyes", "And So It Goes" & "Blackbird". All are excellent!

Welcome back. Lovely reaction. Tim always gives me chills when he hits those low notes. Peter is a solo act. He teams up with other artists to make spectacular songs. If you want requests, I can suggest a few. "Black Is The Color Of My Trueloves Hair" (featuring Avi Kaplen), "The Moon Song" (featuring The Hound + The Fox), or "Take Me Home, Country Roads" (featuring Adam Chance).

Peter Hollens is a solo acapella artist, he layers himself over and over. In this video thay had over 120 layers, that why it sounds like a choir. And Peter and Tim did some other songs together, all of them are great choices to react to

It's from Tolkien's "The Hobbit" The voices other than Tim Foust were all Peter Hollens with lots of layering. He is known as the king of this production technique
