A fun fact, Peter filmed his part in Oregon, and Tim filmed his part somewhere in the Caribbean. Peter is the master of layering. He has worked with Home Free a few times. Another rabbit hole for you to explore. haha. Have a great day.

Peter and Home Free did a great cover of U2's I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For. Peter is the king of layering. All the voices in this (and yes, only voices) were their two voices.

Peter has great collaborations. He and Tim Foust alone several times and with Home Free a couple of times are fun. He has also collaborated with the other two of the Great Bass triad, Geoff Castellucci and Avi Kaplan. Those are Christmas movie medley and Black is the Colour of My True Love's Hair.

Tim and Peter do a couple other collaborations, my favorite being "Greensleeves". It will blow your mind. Tim not only uses his amazing low range but his higher range as well! It's so beautiful that there aren't words to describe it! Loved your reaction. By the way, YES! There were no instruments in this song. Peter is a master at layering the different voice tracks( of himself and Tim). He records the various parts and puts them together, which then sounds like a choir of people singing when it's actually just him and Tim. Amazing, right?? Please check out "Greensleeves."Their voices are breathtaking and so is the place they did the video. They did it in ONE take! (They've also done "Bridge over Troubled Waters") As far as Home Free, I stick with what I previously said.: Start with reacting to their journey on "The Sing Off" and go from there. Its Sooooo Worth it!!💗

Your reactions when you heard this was amazing. I've heard that the ONLY noise was the Human Voice, which they do advertise in the beginning, their were only 2 voices, Peter and Tim's voices, they were in 2 separate locations And there are over 100 layers. Consisting of only their 2 voices. The video is amazing. Tim, you know from HOME FREE. Their BASS with a 5+ octave range. Peter, I am new to him, after seeing and hearing this video. He is amazing. He does a great song that I think you would like. If you would like, check out: Hobbit Drinking Medley - Peter Hollens feat. Hank Green!! : It is AWESOME as well. This was yet again, another great Post, Samantha. Thank you.

This is so good isn’t it?!! Peter Hollens is an amazing “a cappella” singer. He is a master of layering voices. It’s just the two voices, Peter and Tim’s. He used a 120 tracks of their voices or something amazing like that so that it sounds like a choir. If you stare at the camera on Tim’s last note, the camera shakes. He hit a G#1 I think. Yes, this is from the movie The Hobbit and the Dwarves sing it. Peter and Tim collaborate on more songs you might like: Sound of Silence, Bridge Over Troubled Water, Greensleeves, Fire and Rain. Also Peter has sung a few songs with Tim’s band Home Free. Amazing Grace is a beautiful one. All a cappella so no instruments. Good reaction!

This is from the movie "The Hobbit". It's sung by dwarves upon losing their homeland to a dragon. You should definitely see "The Hobbit". All the harmonies were provided by Peter and Tim--just the two of them. Peter is the king of layering. I absolutely love Peter Hollens. I suggest you react to Peter Hollens' solo "Shendoah" (from the same-named movie), his Disney Villian Medley (with Whitney Avalon--far and away my favorite "Villians" medley), his collaboration with Hank Greene for the "Hobbit Drinking Medley" (also from several of "The Hobbit" movies--this is just so much fun!), and his collaboration with his wife (Evynne Hollens) on the Les Miserables medley.

Samantha, Peter Hollens is THE expert for acapella music at the university of Portland. In his own channel you will discover very funny songs and medleys and breathtaking pieces. Please try "Baba Yetu" theme from the game Civilication III. It is the God´s Prayer in Swahili, a african language, and now sang in almost all african churches. Skyrim song with Lindsey Sterling Master -violinist, is fun to watch. Peter is a good egg. At Christmas he and his family brought little gifts to street people in Portland. Stay save and healthy with yours. Greetings from Southwest Germany

Home Free fans identify as home fries alluding to the southern American potato breakfast dish. Here is just a few of their enormously popular covers; Boys to Men's End of The Road ( every black reactor I've seen is amazed by this performance) , ,When a Man Loves a Woman , Mayday , Elvira (ft. The Oak Ridge Boys) , American Pie (ft. Don Mclean) , Hillbilly Bone , Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget (written by Tim and very funny) , I Swear ( hilarious) All about that Bass (comical), My Church. These are the ones that will bring tears; Go rest high on that mountain , How Great Thou Art. They just dropped their cover of Patsy Cline's "Crazy" on Aug. 1st

If you like bass singers, please react to Geoff (Jeff) Castallucci covering "Tennessee" Ernie Ford's song "Sixteen Tons". A song about the bad ol' days of coal mining. The coal company paid the miners in "Scrip", or fake money. So the only place they could shop was the company general store and the company could charge whatever they wanted. Thus the lyrics..."I Owe My Soul To The Company Store".
