To see someone meet Geoff for the first time is hilarious. The facial expressions are all the same. You have just met Geoff (from Geoffrey, sounds like Jeff) Castellucci. He is a singer with a wide range in both voice and repertoire. This is his own KZread channel, where he sings alone or sometimes with his friends Jeff, Joeph, Goff and Daryl. They are a bunch of nice guys. He is also a member in an a capella group called VoicePlay. They have been going on since 1997, and is just getting better and better. They sing anything from opera, musical, movie, jazz, game, metal, pop, rock and all in between. Congratulations to you for finding Geoff and welcome to discover both him and VoicePlay.

@@LythandieLive you have NO idea the adventure you're about to have in the VoicePlay/Geoff Castellucci rabbit hole! :) I've been an a cappella fan for many years, and while I truly do enjoy everyone I've heard, there's just something so unique and incredible about VP/Geoff and all the artists that collaborate with them. They are hands down the most creative and talented artists in the a cappella universe imho. They've covered just about every genre of music imaginable, it's virtually guaranteed that you'll find something in their 10+ years back catalogue that you fall in love with. For some, it's their Disney medleys, for another, it's their metal & rock songs, and yet for others it's their mindblowing video game music covers, then there's those who can't get enough of their more comedic songs. Peruse VoicePlay's and Geoff's channels, your bound to find at least 5 songs that you just HAVE to react to! :) Welcome to the rabbit hole, you're not only gonna love it here, you'll never want to leave! lol

How fun to start your Geoff C. journey with Jack's Lament. Absolutely, my favorite Geoff performance. He 100% captured the essence of Jack and showcased his mad voice skills. INCREDIBLE!!! Thanks.

Here for anything Geoff and or VoicePlay related! They're amazing singers, arrangers, and video producers. The members are all from Orlando and have performed at various theme parks earlier in their careers. You'll soon see why they've earned the nickname "theater kids of a cappella." VoicePlay has done four other songs from Nightmare Before Christmas. They have their own playlist on the VP channel. Buckle in, it's a fabulous ride!

Welcome to Geoff! He has so much good music on his solo channel, and he's also in an amazing acapella group called VoicePlay that you ABSOLUTELY need to check out! As far as recommendations go, you can't go wrong with any of their music, and I always recommend scrolling through their page and clicking on the ones that interest you the most - those are often the most entertaining reactions!

I find it hard to pick favorites with Geoff’s (and his group Voiceplay’s) music, but I do have to admit I was really happy to revisit this one. Great reaction!!

Many people focus on his voice changes and makeup, but I think his eye acting is also excellent. If you only look at his eyes, you can see that he changes his facial expression depending on the lyrics and his voice.

If you liked this, you should definitely check out VoicePlay. Geoff here sings bass with them (they are an a cappella group), and they have done several covers from the Nightmare Before Christmas as well. One of those tracks, Oogie Boogie's Song, features Geoff in the lead role- and if you liked Geoff as Jack Skellington, you won't believe how amazingly he portrays Oogie Boogie! VoicePlay also cover What's This?, Kidnap the Sandy Claws and This Is Halloween, with equal skill and amazing videography.

Actually 4..... What's This? This Is Halloween Kidnap The sandy Claws Oogie Boogie Song All phenomenal as with all of Voiceplay videos. Geoff's 3 main clones got their names in his video "Way Down" by Elvis Presley... Jeff, Jeoph and Goff. His 4th clone got his name, Daryl, in his video"Ghost Riders In The Sky". I got introduced to Geoff watching a reaction of his "Ain't No Sunshine". I then found out he was bass for Voiceplay. My introduction to them was "Dragonborn Comes Skyrim". That was 2 years ago and I've never looked back.

Welcome to Geoff, and hope you do lots of him and his group, Voiceplay! Your subscriber count WILL go up, because they're so well loved! If you'd like, I can pass on some "rules" (suggestions, really) that may help make your listening and watch Geoff and Voiceplay videos even better! But I'll only post them with your permission. I see you did Voiceplay's latest, will be watching that next, and will be subscribing, because watching someone discover these amazing men and their guests is so satisfying and delightful! If you say it's okay, I'll post them on the Voiceplay video. Oh! And if you think this is low for Geoff, my friend, YOU AIN'T HEARD NOTHING YET!!! LOL!

@@LythandieLive I'm on my phone at the moment, as my laptop is updating, but I'll post them on your Nothing Else Matters video. (I'm saving it to watch tomorrow!) They've been approved by many of my fellow Voiceplayas (VP fans) and Castellunatics. You're absolutely going to fall in love with these guys, and their wonderful guests, both male and female. Don't be surprised if you see different lineups in different videos, they've been around a long time so a few members have come and gone. More on that tomorrow! Have a great evening!💙💙💙💙

Geoff (like Jeff). He is an original member of VoicePlay dating from 1997 when it was called 4:2:Five. (And before that in middle and high school). Layne was the baritone in those days but when their beatboxer (Scott Porter) wanted to go into acting, Layne (original member) wanted the beatboxer position. Geoff taught him what he knew and Layne ran with it. He is absolutely one of the best beatboxers as well as a classically taught violinist (now known as VioLayne after playing the violin in 3 of their videos over 25 yrs). Earl was also an original member (lovely high tenor) but he left a bit over 3 yrs ago for personal reasons. Eli had competed against them in high school competitions and after being in a couple of rock bands, he joined VoicePlay in 2010. They -needed a new baritone and got Tony Wakim for a few years, but he really wanted to be in productions so he and Layne bought a studio (you saw it in this although the Halloween props came from Geoff and his wife's home. This group (as well as Geoff's solo work) started after covid shut down tours. They brought on J None, a velvet R&B voice. Currently he is serving the the US Navy in their premier chorus. He may get out in 2 more years but until then he comes when he can to sing with VoicePlay. Because they were short 2 vocalists (Earl -tenor, J None - baritone) they found Cesar and he can do it all. They do nearly everything themselves with the final mix going to Ed Boyer (specialist in acapella groups), and Rick Underwood who is a makeup/prosthetics specialist. Do keep in mind that both Geoff and VoicePlay will often include some background video or some of the karaoke track so you can hear more of the background sound. Just look at how much time is still available and let it run. They have all worked at Disney or Universal and as such are known as the Theatre Kids.

Totally agree. They and Geoff both do a running thank you list of most of their patreons. Geoff also does a short speech and shows a little of their behind the scenes. For Voiceplay that's one of the ways you know Geoff's from Layne's/Eli's arrangements. He just started doing that a year or so ago.

Please do revisit this video and play through to the credits for a sweet little extra scene. Most of the pumpkins used in the video belong to the Castelluccis (one of the large pumpkin stacks belongs to PattyCake Productions, which is owned by VoicePlay member Layne Stein and former member Tony Wakim. The tombstones belong to PCP. Geoff found that amazing moon light on Amazon. The video shoot piano was quite out of tune. Zero was not in the cut of the video released to Patreon, and Jack's eyes turned red rather than having the pumpkins in them.

@@LythandieLive In many of his other solo videos, he layers different vocal parts and films each of them as a 'clone' of himself, who have names of their own - Jeoph, Jeff, Goff and Daryl, sometimes each portraying a different costumed character. Check out his covers of Ghost Riders in the Sky and I See Fire for a couple of highlights. VoicePlay's catalogue is huge and covers a lot of territory, all of it incredible, but I recommend Nothing Else Matters, Hoist the Colours, Valhalla Calling and the Moana Medley _just_for starters.
