I cannot count the number of reactors for whom this is their first Geoff encounter and they don't realize it's the same person. There is so much atmosphere created in this video. All done by Geoff except for a few things. And his voice and arrangement are exceptional. Even when singing high his voice has a resonance. I am happy to see someone notice the high notes because the incredible low notes usually get all of the attention. But the funny low-note Zach faces are fun!

I'm waiting for Halloween to recommend Jack's Lament. It is beyond fantastic.
I love that each version, tenor, baritone, bass, and sub-bass got to sing solo!
It’s crazy how much work he puts in. Arranging multiple vocals, creating and producing the backing track. Recording multiple vocals. Recording multiple Geoffs…

and he does the same for VoicePlay as well... insanely talented and BUSY

@@zarasha8220 He does a lot more work for his solo covers. With Voiceplay he never has to create and produce a backing track or sing 4 parts or clone himself in videos 😅
I love it too when Geoff brings out the tenor. One forgets one man has such range... He is representing the dwarves from Middle Earth during the time frame of the Hobbit movies: Bofur, Kili, Fili and the leader of the party: Thorin Oakenshield (the deep bass on the right) - you can tell who they are from their weapons and facial hair 😉. Thanks for this - love your reactions to VP and Geoff. 🌹🕊
No doubt my favorite, but I also love Way Down, Jack's Lament, and God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen. The man is a musical magician.
IMO, this song shows off Geoff's higher range more than any other. Though his highest note is in the "Peaches" short, if I recall. We see a little bit of a Rock God in both Geoff AND Eli in that one! 💙
Yes, Geoff does inspire many different facial expressions! In fact, I've said it before and will say it again! I believe Geoff inspires more facial expressions than any other singer around today. Good ones, of course! Hey Huldra Draco, our Voiceplay Valkyrie! You should do a compilation video of some!💙
Yeah - this is one of my faves, too. Altho' I'm really liking his newest one "Unshaken", too. This one really gets me in the 'feels'. It took a while for me to be able to get through this one without sniffling.
This one is my favorite "Multiple Geoffs" video (until now). The song is great and Geoff's arrangement, giving every character his own voice, is great. Of course a little showcase of his vocal abilities and range, too. Great work.
Sorry, one more comment. I like keep my thoughts and topics seperate, it's the writer in me... I'm going to repeat a comment I made to another reactor (alas, Zach, I have been seeing another reactor, a bunch in fact, please forgive me😢) today. "Geoff's voice is eargasmic, and his videos are better than some movies! This man could be a major star if he wanted to, but he's happy sharing his love of music and his talent on a smaller scale. It's not about money, or fame, or any of that. It's just a love he chooses to share with us. It's honestly a blessing."😊💙

Was it Arab Man Reacts by chance? What you said rings a bell and it sounds like something he would say lol :)

@@zarasha8220 It does, but it wasn't him. His channel was called Night Stories or something like that. It was someone new to me. And I said it TO the reactor. 💙

@@chloenguyen6398 Ah, yes, that sounds right!💙
Great song and a great showcase of his range. More Geoff and VoicePlay, please! I’d love to see you react to High and Dry.
I just shake my head in amazement when I see what Geoff can do with his instrument...this was incredible, such talent in this man. Thanks Zack. Bass face is pretty cool BTW.
This is one of my favourites by Geoff. Glad you enjoyed it.
To answer your question: Yes, you do have a stank-face when listening to Geoff's low notes! EDIT: well, not just Geoff's low notes!
This one and Jack's Lament (another Nightmare Before Christmas song) are, in my opinion, Geoff's two very best covers.
So far this is my favorite video from Geoff
Love this one, too! Easily one of my faves as well, he just keeps getting better and better, IMO. This was just Geoff, his wife Kathy and Rick Underwood (beard wrangler/makeup wizard) on the day of shooting, Eli programmed the lighting the day before as he couldn't make it on the day. Layne and Tony ( co-owners of Pattycake Productions, where they shoot many VP and Geoff's videos) may have helped with the set, But often it's just Geoff and Kathy getting the set ready, shooting and taking it down after. His most recent, Unshaken is pretty good too..! 😊
Thank you so much for another amazing Geoff reaction. Always here for it as a patron of Voiceplay, Geoff and you ;-)
Yay! This was a fun reaction! 👏🙂 I can’t believe I didn’t request this one myself! …and yes, we ALL give the stank face trying to make our way through “Geoff videos” lol 🙃 …
Geoff learned low bass techniques from Tim Foust of Home Free when their groups were on The Sing Off. Home Free won, but they stayed in touch. Geoff helped Home Free in some arrangements. He's good at highlighting multiple performers and unique background vocals.
As much as I love his low notes, I actually prefer him and Tim both in their higher registers! That's probably one of my favorites by him solo as well!
So Zack you also make faces when he goes high! :D It's was good.
His range is amazing!
I think the term a reactor coined for the face they make during Geoff's low notes is Bass Face, lol! Great reaction and bass face :D
It's a great one but one of my favourites is Shenandoah. It's just beautiful.
This may be his best. Thanks
This was my favorite until Unshaken! And to think his wife is deaf. I don’t know her story. I don’t know if she can hear this at all. This needs to be heard by all! It is awesome! And yes Zack you make wonderful faces! 💜💜💜

There’s a great video that they made about Kathy’s hearing loss. It explains she has a very unusual combination of hearing difficulties and some of the struggles that they’ve gone through. And it’s just a really heartwarming video of two people in love.

Bass face is real
2:38 it’s fine you’re just giving @LowNote Chronicles some clips for their next Geoff Low Notes reactors reactions video haha.
If you liked this try his cover Ain't No Sunshine - Bill Withers (Bass Singer Cover by Geoff Castellucci)
