What's interesting about Tobias is how his voice seems to have improved with age. That's not common. And he never got any formal training, so he's essentially learning how to sing through trial and error.

It's harder to sing through a mask and still sound that good. He could expand even more without it. Love his voice. An angelic tone to it but he has so many textures he uses within his ranges

Ghost has been the only band that’s hit me as hard as you described. All their music has so many meanings and feelings that it can be interpreted completely different by everyone. Love these reactions, and can’t wait to see your reaction to Ritual, definitely my all time favorite Ghost song.

I love these guys. I discovered them when they opened for Avenged Sevenfold on the Hail to the King tour, and by the end of their set we were all singing along to Monstrance Clock despite their goofy outfits. They used to have to go by Ghost B.C. in the States back then because of some legal shenanigans.

Hi, fairly new fan here as well, but I love your videos so much! Here are some interesting facts about the video/this song The couple standing up and clapping at the end is meant to represent how swedish people (but also Nordics in general) are very open to rock and metal. Countries like Finland, Sweden and Norway are amongst the highest exporters of rock music, so the general public are very open to it most of the time! Im sure someone has mentioned this, but Cirice is a HUGE song in the fandom. When they play this song at concerts, Papa will grab an audience members hand and sing to them during a part of this song. The fans call it being "Ciriced", and ngl, its my lifelong dream lol

When you comment about the audience feeling like the girl in the video is kinda hilarious since, A little fun fact I suppose but, when they used to play it live, Papa would do this thing where he would kneel at the front of the stage and grab a random audience member's hand and sing that chorus to them , is what later became known as "Getting cirice'd" in the fandom, great reaction still!

I think that there are quite a few hints in the lyrics that the "person" that is seeing you is the devil :) Also a kick against the notion of original sin is there in the text.

This album is about the growing disbelief, caused by the "presence of The Antichrist on Earth" (a metaphor for people becoming more well informed, having easier access to education and therefore starting to question old dogmas), until we reach the absolute absence of God on the last track "Deus in Absentia". "Cirice", which is ancient English for 'church', is the 3rd song of the album and is about the church struggling to keep their sheep by trying to convert back the former believers now falling for Satan's charms (self thinking and open-mindedness).

Ghost is usually known because of their "satanic" style and lyrics. This song talks about a conection with the devil and maybe, the one who sings and understands what the person they are talking about, it´s him, the devil. It can be seen in two different perspectives from my point of view. The devil understands what we are going through and he or it sees itself as a normal being. Or he could just be being empathic to catch us into his evil web lol, idk. That´s my point of view of the lyrics. Greetings!

The name of the song, "Cirice", is the Old English word for church and is intentionally mispronounced as sir-ees, similar to the feminine name Clarice, in order to trick people into thinking it is a love song.

Cirice is church in old english. So the usual comment on organized religion. BTW can I suggest a band? Look up Palaye Royale. Don't judge them by their looks. They sing songs with dark themes. Try Lonely or Broken or Anxiety. People say they are like Måneskin, 21 Pilots and My Chemical Romance I bet your son knows of them. They are huge online.
