I was there too it was beautiful.
As soon as Luther opens his mouth. His voice is so easy and effortless. Luther has so many classic duets and this is one of them. Their voices melt like butter. They do justice to the original
This version is absolutely perfection
They fill every nook and cranny of the song, nothing untouched and not a dull moment 😊
To me, as much as I respect the two legends Lionel Richie and Diana Ross, who are responsible for the original version of this song, I think the rendition of these two legendary vocalists Luther Vandross and Mariah Carey is, by far, the best one of this magical romantic song.

Definitely one of the best diets of all time, what a beautiful song and they sang the HELL OUT of this.
My mom was a Luther fan when I was growing up..I remember hearing his music when I was 7 8 years old..

Luther is a legend and taken from us way too soon. Please play Last Christmas with George Micharl. He will be gone 5 years tomorrow so sad...RIP George and Luther!

Thanks for doing this it was beautiful! I love the original too! It looks like it was performed at the royal Albert hall in London which also hosts the proms every year.it's named after queen victoria's husband Prince Albert and has just celebrated 150yrs. This was early in mariah's career before she started doing extra runs in her songs. This is emotional for me since the all round georgous guy Luther vandross passed rip Luther😢 Try his a house is not a home and never too much which has a long intro and is on my phone playlist.
