Yeah, he grew up in Covington down the street from me. The city is a lot different these days, but back then, there were definitely several sketchy parts - especially where he was raised. Good old southeast Louisiana!

I said the same about Theo. To just spend one night with him and listening to him would be gold

Presidential candidates call him to be on his podcast, and yet he still stays close to his people in the comedy community.

Joe is from fear factor and is a mixed martial artist who is a commentator for the UFC, and he’s also a comedian.but he did some amazing things for comedy that helped transcend it so any comic is going to praise him.. but yes he’s definitely deserves the praise.

The joke Andrew was making was about Theo moving out of LA where he did another podcast with former UFC fighter Brendan Schaub (who Theo is a lot funnier than). They hadn’t officially seperated, but everybody could tell Theo was on his way out, meanwhile Brendan was trying to save it by bringing on new hosts (like Chris Delia) and doing other gimmicks like the Hot Chip challenge, both which Andrew mentions in that clip. Theo now has officially split from the podcast tho

Yes. I watched King and the Sting from the beginning, and it was so insane to watch theo just slowly blow up, and Brenda slowly get more and more hate, some justified some not... but you could also slowly see Theo begin to hate California

I grew up not to far from Theo (didn't know him). But I'm sure his stories are all true. They don't seem out of pocket for the area.

Theo Von has an interesting background. He's from Covington, Louisiana (pop 11,000). He was legally emancipated at 14. He is equal parts Polish, Nicaraguan, Irish and Italian. His full name is Theodor Capitani von Kurnatowski. His dad was 68 when Theo was born. Interesting character.

I'm not 100% on how accurate all of it is, but from what I can tell, a lot of it is accurate. As a theo fan, it was cool to see. He definitely had a weird upbringing.

Rogan is the epitome of physical fitness and he bow hunts elk and stuff...thats what they're referring to. A lot of comedians joke about his "godlike" work ethic when it comes to working out. Now there's Matt Rife but prior to his recent rise to fame, Rogan was like a unicorn in a herd of unfit comics.

Lol that's the Bobby Lee from bad friends podcast and he is talking with Kalyan whom he dated for almost a decade and whom he started the really good podcast Tigerbelly with. ✌🏼 His podcast has evolved and moved studios a few times, but he's never been shut down. He had one podcast episode removed from KZread, but it was something guest Roseanne Barr said and was joking about that KZread didn't get I guess.

The podcast is the same when Theo hosts (This past weekend) he just uses different studios a lot of the time, mainly I assume because of the location.

I can confirm that Joe's Crab Shack is a real spot. It's technically not in Miami but a tourist would probably call it Miami. And there are multiple Podcast's. He was on a pod called The King and The Sting. He left the pod.
