He is a master in concert . We had seats in the back once and after a small break a new stage popped up 10 feet in front of us . They switched it up. Such a class act.

The thing that I've always loved about "Stupid Boy" is the fact that the guitar solo at the end exemplifies that the music can be a message in itself, and no words are needed. The solo clearly demonstrates the guilt, regret, and self-anger felt by the stupid boy thinking about the treasure he threw away with his words and actions.

Britt, I absolutely love your reactions. I saw Keith Urban in concert. We had front row seats, dead center. Fact: Keith runs around barefoot on stage. Keith also plays numerous instruments. I love how easy he shows his feelings. He cried like a baby at the finale where Kelly Clarkson sings “Piece by Piece.” Very raw and emotional song!!!

I've seen Keith in concert many times and he is just incredible to see live! Those guitar solos at his shows sound just as amazing as the recorded versions, if not better. He's one of the best guitarists around in any genre of music, IMO.

The video to “Raining on Sunday” was my introduction to Keith. Had no clue who he was, but I wanted more😍😍Been a fan since. He is awesome in concert. For a bluesy side of Keith “Blue Ain’t Your Color” is a good one. Keith has always been the edgier side of country. Don’t care what you call it, but he is amazing!

Keith ,to me anyway, has always been a rocker with a country heart. The country boy who knows what he has..doesn’t need to wander to far for to long, to find out he already has everything. The voice, the unbelievable guitar-playing talent and the stories to tell..anyway, he’s a gem.

"that doesn't feel like country ya'll" On the contrary, that what country music is about, simple yet beautiful melodies and usually sad yet uplifting story to tell. I'll take that over WAP or FTP any day of the week, much "healthier" message than the aforementioned have to offer. At least that how I see it.

We love our Country rocker Keith Urban....I've seen this man in concert 10 times and I've never walked away thinking, "oh man I missed the country music..." He always gives you a mix. And there is only 1 Keith Urban and his style of Country music...there have been several over the last 20 years who have tried to copy him...and they've failed miserably. I will never stop listening to this man's music, ever. Nobody does it like him, nobody even comes close. If I wanted to hear "cracker jack" country music I can turn on the radio and 50% of what coming out of Nashville these days is all the same. This man is a unicorn and he is one of the 3 golden boys who play guitar the best in the Industry, not the Country Genre, but the Music Industry, Keith Urban, Vince Gill and Brad Paisley. I also love the fact that he cannot read music and plays completely by ear, as a musician myself, that always blows me away, because without notes on a paper, I cannot play, this man can listen to a song once or twice and in 30 or 40 minutes be ready to step on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry and shred he hell out of it! ❤‍🔥

Keith Urban didn't even write this track. It had already been written by a lady named Sarah Buxton around 2004. Song was written about a bad relationship was having that was verbally and mentally unstable and abusive. Keith Urban heard it and wanted to record it. The title was always stupid boy and it had nothing to do with any kind of writing by Keith Urban. Check out some of her other tracks. The lyrics weren't changed by Keith Urban. Purely written by a female about her personal experiences within a relationship.

Keith is a great guitarist. He is considered to be country although, he earned recognition from both inside and outside of country music for his pop-rock influences and honest lyrics. He has gotten a lot more experimental with his sound, bringing in elements from different genres such as pop, R&B and mixing them with traditional country. The problem with that is you run the risk of pissin' off the country music- purists. But he has songs that are truly traditional country, and he has songs that are clearly meant to be rock. Here's a live performance of one of his very popular "traditional" country songs "Somebody Like You - Keith Urban" (Live) This was fun enjoyed your reaction, Britt. Thanks for sharing

Keith is from Australia I think. While he doesn't have that classic Country twang....he definitely has what it takes to top the Country charts again and again. He is not classic Country by any means, but he is one of the best Country performers out there. His is a genre that few artists fall into. The ones that are epic, yet defy all labels. His music comes from his soul and touches everyone. You don't have to be a Country fan to enjoy it.

I went to the theater and watched a movie called "Act of Valor" and while the credits were rolling a song began that was rock but it sounded like Keith singing. I had to stay for the song and to see who it was singing and it was him singing a song called "For You" which was awesome. This song would let you see his rocker side if you would react to it. Not sure if you've checked this out yet or not, but there is a series CMT put out called "Crossroads". It pairs a country artist with an artist that is not country. There is a concert episode featuring Keith Urban and John Mayer. It's absolutely worth listening to. I would request "Til Summer Comes Around" from that series for you to react to.

Now react to “Stupid Girl” by Garbage. Rocker, Grammy-award winning band with an amazing female singer (Shirley Manson). You won’t be disappointed, studio version or live version.

Oh and if you want to hear some great vocals, you should listen to JOJO. HER song SAY LOVE is amazing from there you’ll see bunch of her stuff pop up. She don’t get the recognition she deserves. Look forward to watching you react to this one 🙏🏼

IMO .. the majority of country singers today cross that line over to the pop/rock side. Taylor Swift is a prime example. She debut with her single #Tim Mcgraw (think that was the title) at 15 or so. Her music was landing on both pop and country charts, but she seem to stay in the 'country' lane for a couple of years. As she grew older tho and old enough to date (John Mayer is the one who comes to mind) her writings were more serious and about the ex's I read. Unless the singer sings with that twangy nasal sound, its difficult to know if one is hearing country or pop music on the radio.

@Robert Chapman, I think my buddy Buk & his ex-wife "Sarah Buxton" did it the best! Sarah co-wrote the song & recorded the original version with Buk playing acoustic, electric & bass guitar & Sarah's raw innocent singing lead vocals on the track. Maybe I'm a bit bias but check it out yourself if you're not hip. +++Peace & Rock n' Roll 4 Your Soul+++

Keith is country to the bone. But, you must understand…Keith is a child prodigy - there is no string instrument he cannot play; master songwriter, he is a master composer of music. Keith will never be accepted by the political fat-cats of Nashville because…Keith lets his music take him where it will. “Country Where?” Keith’s been fighting that question his whole career…The Fans Disagree! And the real Country Community Disagrees.

Tom Cruise, great actor that he is, bottled up, controlled and tore down Keith’s now wife the actress Nicole Kidman. This song is about that and sadly, Tom did the same thing to the actress Katie Holmes when he was married to her. See him live if you get the chance. The man can flat out shred on guitar, and I’ve seen most of the greats live going back to the 70s.

All things KU is fire!! Keith did not write this but, the song resonated because of what Nicole went through with Tom Cruise. Keep going please!!!! There is not one country artist as Passionate as Keith.
