Michael is a Canadian singer who developed his style listening to his grandfather’s collection of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Elvis etc. Living in Vancouver he started working on salmon fishing boats every summer for 2-3 months on board at a time. Music gave him an out and now he’s a world renowned star. Loves to bring fans up on stage to sing with him. He is great! He married the woman in the video and they have 3 or 4 kids. Thanks Britt!

@@jaybea365There was a language barrier but she is actually from Argentina. She is an actress there. They live between Vancouver and Argentina. Michael loves to imitate his wife’s Latin accent. They met after one of his concerts and she thought at first he was gay because he was interested in who her date was. He was just trying to find out if she was available. True love.

You know this song because it played everywhere on the radio constantly for about a year. There was no escaping this song.

He wrote this song when he started dating the woman in the video. They were engaged by the time they filmed this, and have been married ever since.

Filmed in East Vancouver, just west of Burnaby, Michael’s hometown. Michael Buble is one of the most underrated singers out there. The woman in the video is now his wife, Luisana Lopilato, who he has several kids with. His live shows are excellent. Feelin’ Good, Everything, Home and Beautiful Day are also great ones from the Boobs.

You would LOVE Michael Buble and Blake Shelton singing Michael’s big hit “Home” as a duet. Look for the live version from 2008. Very funny and great voices too.

After seeing MJ, he is the 2nd best concert I've ever been too, even shook his hand as he walked through the crowd 😁

One of the best, still want to see his live show and he is unmatched for his Christmas Specials, love his jingle bells duet with Kermit the Frog!

he is Canadian and this was one of his first videos that was popular. He sings very much in the "big Band" era. Love his music, concerts are amazing!

As it's been said, Micheal is a crooner, in the styles of Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, even Bobby Darin. He sings using techniques from these singers, but still has his own unique sound. He's also developed his own pop-crooner style of music which seems to have inspiration from what we call the Standards. As for this video, it's just a total joy to watch. The woman in the video he is having his fantasy about is his actual wife. If you want to see more of them together, watch the video for "I'll Never Not Love You". To my knowledge, this song hasn't been used in any movies. It had a LOT of airplay after it was released, so it's just possible you came across it at some point. Very cute reaction. It's lovely to see the joy rise up in you and it shows all on your face. Thank you for reacting to this. You did really nail it, he's got very much a crooner style voice like Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby and Dean Martin. He's sung old standards from that era but also had had pop hits. The song that was a big hit for him was "Home," which Blake Shelton did a country version of as well.

I love Michael Buble. His voice sounds synthetic or autotuned... but it's not! Such a happy song and he has many more. He was really big 15ish years ago. He's had his own Christmas shows. Read up on him he is a cool guy. Love your shotgun splatter reaction - it's fun, but I can totally relate.

Michael "Boo-blay." You pegged his Sinatra-like "crooner" style, I think he's most famous for that type of song. One of my favorites is "Home." Even though it's a musician's trope, "Life is hard on the road," it's just wonderful. Edit: I don't think you've done a Late Late Show with James Cordon "Carpool Karaoke" yet (I don't know if you give credence to Cordon's bad publicity or if that would affect your decision to listen) but his Carpool Karaoke with Michael Boo-Blay is great, he sings some of his best songs (opening with "Just Haven't Met You Yet" and ending with "Home"), but .... he also discusses an illness in the family that may be too hard to listen to.

Michael Bublé is a frustrating artist. You can tell that he has this huge voice and that he could really sing if he wanted to. Instead he just always keeps it low key and contained, and never even tries to do some hard stuff. Just breezing through life, collecting ladies and paychecks on his way to doing gigs on a cruise line in 20 years from now.

I agree. I do not enjoy his music AT ALL, but I do know he has so much more, something better in there. For now, it sounds like nails on a chalkboard for me.

Constructive criticism. You miss a lot of the context of the lyrics because you pause songs too often. Let a verse and chorus play out before you stop it to comment. You'll get more out of the songs.
