The chaser is literal perfection of kpop.... ONE OF THE BEST SONG EVER ..

The Chaser, aka the best song in kpop history. But it's not even my favorite. You have to check out everything prior! Be Mine and Paradise are absolute masterpieces as well! My recommendations for the next part would be BTD (Before The Dawn), Be Mine, Paradise, Man in Love and Last Romeo!

The Chaser is the oldest out of the other MVs you reacted. INFINITE had a distinct sound which honestly went away over time. It’s a classic and I’m glad you saved the best for last by coincidence

The Chaser still remains one of the best kpop songs ever. Their older songs are definitely much better. Sweetune needs to produce more songs!

I agree, but Sweetune isn't an actual thing now. One or two of them already part ways with the composing team and joined Monotree.

Infinite had such a distinct recognisable sound, musically and vocally. when they sing inchorus you immeadiately now its Infinite. I wasnt even an inspirit but when a song came on my playlist i could easily tell its Infinite

@@miskellaneousK the members have been doing content together lately. Everyone is out of the military now except for L. They even did a seasons greetings this year. I don't think being in different agencies is going to stop them from having a comeback.

Bro I was obsessedd with them😩 legendary vocalists, they made everything just sound SO good🤍 defo worthy legends for a reason, their musicality was /is something elseee imo & their choreo !!! Omds I could waffle about them

to explain all the sound effects in mv's from that time: back in the day before spotify, kpop fans used to just download straight from mv's. Kpop companies such as SM entertainment would battle this by putting sound effects in the mv's (might be noticeable in snsd mv's as well). I agree it can be super distracting and I also generally go for dance versions because of this reason! EDIT: ALSO the reason you will probably enjoy their older tracks more is because they're by Sweetune, the music producers in charge of Kara's and Nine Muses songs as well! Infinite are the kings of good ass key changes so I do hope you'll react to more!

It’s fine if you don’t really vibe with some of their songs since they do come across as pretty dated to new listeners, but The Chaser is arguably the greatest KPop song to ever exist and glad to see you enjoying it!

Most of Infinite's music videos have stories so it's going to be really distracting😅 Infinite has a very distinct style (as you said, EDM and orchestral) which made them really popular back in the days. But, I think, is very different from the taste of the newer generation and I honestly respect that. Thanks for your honest opinions and still giving them a chance😊 PS. The group you're talking about at the intro is Highlight formerly known as Beast. They were originally from Cube Entertainment. After they left Cube, they set up their own agency which is Around Us Entertainment. Beast is another great group from 2nd gen you should check out :)))

Actually the story you told at the start of video is about BEAST , a boy group from 2nd gen that debuted under cube Ent but they left the company and now are active with name Highlight Anyway INFINITE one of the best groups from second gen 🤍 Be Mine was the first song i heard from them it was soooo famous at that time in Korea and between fans

I don't think it's coincidence you liked The Chaser so much as it was composed by Sweetune, which is behind a good portion of KARA's discography including Mister, Step, Pandora and Damaged Lady.

Well... i guess i'm sad as an inspirit because i really wanted you to absolutely love them. We can't force somebody to like something, that's just your taste and that's it Still pretty happy you gave them a chance and got to post the reaction giving your honest opinion, even tho it wasn't really your vibe, i was curious to see your reaction. One thing i guess i should say is: indeed their vocals are incredible, and even tho their vocals are incredible their main trait is their choreo, they were known as the "Kings of Synchronization". They and SHINee were the ones that popularized this kind of synchronized choreo that is so highly praised today, their songs might feel somehow outdated today, but at their time was pretty unique and innovative, and i agree with you, since you style of reaction is focused on reviewing the songs, the MVs might be REALLY distracting, but their MVs either focus on their choreo (main trait), or storytelling, so reacting to their MVs should be an experience on it's own, BEYOND the song. As i said again, kinda sad as i wished you'd love them, but that's why i like your reactions and i'm your fan, you're honest about it, hoping you can give them a second chance being more open mind about it 🤗

Infinite is known for their synchronization and still, for me, no one tops them. Paradise is my fav song of theirs and kind of underrated. Hope you react to it eventually, There's no choreo in that mv, but the song is amazing and I remember being obsessed with the live performances of that song :) Be Mine and BTD are also 2 of their other iconic songs. What I really liked about Infinite was their rappers could legit really sing which is why they were overall very good vocally.

The sound of Infinite is so distinctive, I love them so much! Absolutely one of my fav second gen groups! The Chaser is another classic for kpoppers, just like TVXQ’s Mirotic. If you want to listen other stuff, you have to listen BTD (Before The Dawn), Julia, Be Mine, Paradise and Man in Love. ❤️

Since you liked The Chaser I feel like you would also enjoy their song Last Romeo (which is one of my favorite kpop songs of all time) and also Paradise, Be Mine and Man In Love

Fun fact: infinite used to be really poor. Their company woolim entertainment was on the verge of bankruptcy and if Infinite did not have a hit song then they were going to disband. The CEO of Woolim at the time actually sold his house just so he could produce there album called “Over The Top”. They basically put there heart, blood, sweat, and tears into that album. Finally with “Be Mine” they blew up in Korea. They became so famous in Korea and became one of the biggest groups of there time. It was incredible to witness

I actually found your SF9 and TWICE reactions the other day and watched them all, and when I saw that you were reacting to INFINITE, I was super excited since they're the 3rd of my trinity of favorite groups~ I appreciate your honesty, especially regarding Destiny since it was definitely experimental at the time on their part and can be a hit or miss. The Chaser is actually made by the same producer who did Kara's Step, Pandora, and Mister~ His title tracks for Infinite are their best, imo, and helped shape their sound (I wish he had continued producing for them, but their company wanted to use in-house producers instead). For songs, if you ever want to react to them again, I recommend Last Romeo (watch the dance practice instead because it includes the intro track, and they have really good intros), Paradise (dance practice), Be Mine (dance version), and BTD (dance version). Also, I don't know why, but their company is ridiculous when it comes to people reacting to some of their music videos, they end up getting blocked...

oh btw fifi the group you were referring to in your intro was highlight who use to be know as beast another 2nd gen bg, they were part of cube ent and they left cube went to a new company (can’t remember the name) and couldn’t keep their old name so they changed it to highlight🥰 And just a lil info on infinite i think 3 or 4 of the infinite members have left their company woollim ent in the last few years since their contracts expired and i think hoya was the 1st to leave & he actually left the group and the group carried on as 6, also most of the members are now soloists & actors and L (myungsoo) i think is the only member still currently serving in the military, they ofc are still infinite tho as they have not officially disbanded but tbh idk when or if they will have a cb again as a group tho since they are all just doing their own thing now but im hopeful they will one day!🥰 also pls anyone feel free to add anything to what i said or correct me if anything i said is wrong im literally just going off my own memory so i might have got some things wrong lol😅

Infinite is my fave 2nd gen boy group. Paradise, tic toc, the chaser and be mine are my jams from them. If you like ‘The Chaser’, check their older MVs cause most of it were produced by Sweetune. Sweetune specialized this modern retro sound that I personally loved and how they take on the retro sound.

The chaser is definitely my favorite song from infinite, I remember replaying their mv in internet cafe until my times out back then, aside from the chaser, my second favorite song is 'man in love' that song really makes my heart beat fast and I falling in love with L! another good song in my opinion is nothing over, paradise, before the dawn, and last romeo. it wasn’t a boring reaction at all!! i’m glad you gave infinite a listen even if a lot of the tracks didn’t end up getting a huge reaction out of you. The Chaser is absolutely one of those kpop hall of fame songs that you can hear the influence of on groups after them. if you do ever react to infinite again, like others have said i’d suggest she’s back, man in love, last romeo, before the dawn, and paradise. and definitely dance versions where possible since they always have some dramatic story lol. i’d also suggest live / acoustic compilations, as they’re really one of the top tier kpop vocal groups.

Infinite was the group that got me into Kpop, so i really really appreciate that you ended up posting this. I prefer their older songs more, but I still like the newer ones, guess it's the bias in me talking. one of the things that im really proud about them is their vocals. their rappers could belt high notes too, and their songs are always high in my ears.

The chorus is literally them dancing to adlibs lol. (I always loved the dance and the performances though. Infinite really knows how to go all in.) I hope you enjoyed The Chaser enough to check out more Infinite again later, especially because most of my favorites are still out there~. There's nothing *quite* the same as The Chaser, but I'd recommend trying Paradise, Before the Dawn (BTD), and Man In Love. (There's also a song and MV I adore called She's Back which is just lighthearted fun and a lot of powernotes.)

My first ever kpop group... changed my life fr fr ... The Chaser will always be one of the most iconic kpop songs ever made imo hehe. And also they've always been called INFINITE so you might be thinking of another group with the whole name thing. They do have a couple sub units and a member left but for most of their career they were under one label with the same name. Edit: You totally don't have to love every song, please don't worry about being honest haha! But my advice is definitely stick to their dance versions of videos lolol to me they are generally better..

FiFi a Sweetune supremacist without even realizing, we love to see it. even thought i did still love their "newer" stuff, Sweetune's style of 80's synthpop is timeless. I reccomend First Romeo, Paradise, and Before The Dawn (BTD). i definitely recommend dance versions when available since their mvs unfortunately do tend to have a lot of sound effects

It definitely seems like you would like their earlier stuff more than their later stuff. Unfortunately, 4/5 songs you listened to this time are from their more recent period. Before Destiny, they exclusively used Sweetune as the producer for their title tracks. These focused heavily on strings and pop synths. Then they started experimenting with another producer, Rphabet, who brought them in a more electronic, EDM direction (while still maintaining their signature string sounds like you pointed out). If you ever want to give INFINITE another listen, then I would definitely recommend you listen to Last Romeo, Paradise, BTD, Be Mine, and Man In Love. Honestly, I think Last Romeo is one of their top title songs, along with The Chaser. Also, the group you were thinking of in the beginning was B2ST/BEAST. After they left Cube, they started their own company and re-branded as Highlight.
