Something is really THAT song. theres not a person in the industry who doesnt know it. Expect is my personal #1 from their title tracks. the final chorus makes my soul leave my body every time edit: twinkle twinkle is also so underrated it was fun to see you enjoy it so much

Something is HANDS DOWN one of the best songs ever made in kpop. Everything is upper level: production, vocal, lyrics, coreo...everything

Something was EVERYWHERE when it came out nmjkyjhtgfrds the Amount of covers alone, truly an iconic song! (fun fact they had to censor the choreo on music shows bc it was too hot apparently) Now I'm very excited for when you react to MissA bc Hush is also Up There in the iconic 2nd gg songs pile. I'm so glad you love Twinkle Twinkle!! :D one of their best songs tbh. They are VERY saucy - I feel that in general 2nd gen ggs were a lot more saucy than later gens - now I cannot wait for you to react to the Queens of the sauce AOA bc,, ,, almost all of their legendary titles are like that (for ex. Like a Cat, Miniskirt, Excuse Me etc).

If you're looking for more girl groups from that era to react to id recommend AOA! They have a lot of classics, and they have some of Brave Brothers' best works under their belt. Id recommend miniskirt, heart attack, short hair, like a cat, and excuse me ❤️❤️

I was introduced to Girls Day with Twinkle Twinkle, I LOVED the dance. It was one of the first kpop dances I learned. When they whiplashed us and switched concepts with with Expect, I loved it too! Honestly, miss the 2nd gen/ early 3rd gen days when groups would switch concepts like nobody's business! Secret were masters of this too haha Minah's vocals are on another level tbf

Minah is still one of my favorite female vocalists in kpop😩🤕

Always top-notch reactions. Gotta say the key change in Expect is *unnnnnbelievable*. Might be my favorite in all of Kpop. The way they build up to it is so elegantly but powerfully done, and then the ad-libs in the final chorus make you feel like you're floating in an aura of space energy. Over 10 years later and it still knocks my socks off every time.

I had a feeling that "Twinkle Twinkle" would be your fave haha. That song made me so happy when it was first released in 2011 and I'm really glad that you enjoyed it as well :) I love these marathons and loved that you got to check out Girl's Day!

love this reaction. i love seeing people appreciating cute/ bright concept...it always get shiet from majority kpop fans for years which is why now we get the influx of girlcrush badass and noise music because companies try so hard to cater to ifans. watching this really made me miss Jihae, she's my fav Girl's Day member though i never really followed them closely since i have other groups whose music i prefer. I don't consider Ring My Bell noise music though, it's upbeat music...which 2nd gen kpop had plenty to offer(idk i guess noise music for me is those talk-singing with loud sounds... don't know how to define with words but i know it when i hear it haha). by the way, if you enjoy cute bright stuffs how about some Rainbow. they did a lot of diverse cool concepts and catchy sounds like A, Mach, To Me, Sweet Dream but when other groups ventured more into sexy/mature concepts as the group went on longer, Rainbow actually went back to doing cute concepts with Tell Me Tell Me and and Sunshine after making their agency agree to do their style/concept of choice(these songs were their comeback after long period of inactivity due to being sent to promote in Japan)...but they didn't got big with those songs so they're back to other darker concept like Black Swan but even their last promoted song, Whoo was back to cute/bright concept which the group themselves loved...where the members really made the promotion all about them being Rainbow with all the colours that represent them. even long after that they remain very close bond and they reunited to produce their 10th anniversary promotion. yikes...sorry this went offtopic n becoming me talking bout my girlgroup lol. i just get excited when i see old kpop reaction. ahh, my good old days lol.(though there are still a few newer idols that still can make me a fan)

Thank you for taking your time out to react to these girls because they're my ult group--they're not technically disbanded but they're all in different agencies now. They still however hang out a lot as you can see in their social media so they're very close. We're hoping they do something again musically as a group but they're all pursuing individual activities. Hyeri in particular is still wildly popular, with friends like Rosé, Taeyeon, Suzy, Key and Krystal.

Girls Day (and AOA) dominated Korea in 2014 and when they released Ring my bell they got bad reviews because netizens thought it was too noisy and it did bad. If i recall well then they didnt release anything for like 2 years and came back with Ill Be yours, the reaction was a lot better but after their previous song + hiatus + bad promotion the song was killed before it started 🥺

I really recommend you react to Spica next, they were one of the more underrated kpop girl groups at the time but they had some truly amazing vocals in their songs like "you don't love me", "I'll be there", "russian roulette", "painkiller", and "lonely"
