I didn't know you were reacting today, you didn't give me the time to explain some FunFacts that adds to the reacting experience 😂 Oh, so you've read it, didn't know since you just started without saying anything hahaha Anyways, here are the FunFacts: - Oddysues is Play by Jay himself - Oddysues Mum in a Future song is Play by Jay's Actual Mum - If you pay attention, All Characters have an Instrument that represents them, sometimes you can hear a Character's Instrument who is not a voice in the Song what means they are watching somehow. - When Human Characters has BackUp Voices those Voices Has to be Actual people around present inthe scene - When a God or Mythical has Back Up Voices they make them appear magically. And finally, in the First song is not Oddyseus discussing with himself, is Zeus telling him The Prophecy of the Baby Growing up and not only Killing Oddysues, but His Family too. I find it funny you are the first reactor who straight up says to let the baby live Because it would be like 20 years before he attacks, haha

​​​​​@@LilyBirds But that was just Mortius case, this is a different person with different way of Thinking and Reacting. I've follow Vic since last year, he won't mind knowing the Voice. He also said he had read the Oddysie so he most Likely knows. And even if he doesn't remember, again, he still doesn't know when or how the mum appears. I myself knew about the voice before the song and it didn't take away anything from the experience.

Glad to see the Man animatic was Wolfy's version. I like alll of them, but adding the detail of the mother watching her baby in danger makes me wish more people watched this version first. It feels more impactful. Plus, someone said the baby smiles at Odysseus while hes wearing his helmet, because he's reminded of his father

@@1islunatic671 yeah, if I'm not mistaken, in the Odyssey Astyanax (the baby) starts crying at the sight of his father dressed for battle, because he's scared of him, his face obscurred by his helmet. Then Hector takes his helmet off and Astyanax smiles. We could assume the baby sees a soldier with a similar helmet, remembers the only other related experience he's had, and expects to see his father.

Love this musical honestly didnt expect it on this channel, im glad more people are getting into epic

Happy to see one of the old crew here !

There is 3 famous versions of the death of infant in Greek mythos. One where Odyssey killed him by dropping him from the city wall, one where another soldier did it but it was a decision made by the Greek kings and Odyssey convinced them all (so it was as if he was the one killing him) … and another where a hero Greek took the baby and used him as a hammer to kill the Trojan king Priam who was also the grandfather of the kid…

Prophecies in Greek myths are always true and will always happen. In some stories, people try to escape their faith and it always turn against them. The most famous one is Oedipus who was told he would kill his father and marry his mother. The guy ran away to protect his family but didn’t know he was adopted and in his travel he did in fact kill a man and marry a queen… when he learnt the truth, he blinded himself and left his crown.

Am I the only one who was slightly disappointed by the fact that he didn’t react to the Polyphemus animatic that was made by Mircsy? No disrespect to the creator of the other animatic, but I’ve only seen the one by Mircsy, so I was looking forward to seeing his reaction to it. I did enjoy the other animatic, though! I haven’t seen that one until now.

yeah it is much more coherent with mircsy's animation of polyphemus going into survive (their polyphemus is my fav interpretation of him ive seen by far too). but the other one is by wolfythewitch! theyre another big EPIC creator that a lot of people love! their animatics are awesome too so i would recommend checking out their stuff!!

I love Wolfy's version of Polyphemus personally. Mircsy's cyclops is terrifying, but Wolfy's is more accurate to mythology. And Odysseus giving Polyphemus a whole barrel of wine makes way more sense than just pouring one flask into his mouth.
