To be fair "the gods told me to" was about the best justification you could have for anything in ancient Greece.

Just a word of advice for future reactions. If it’s under 2 minutes an animatic it is NOT the full version of the song as Jorge released a LOT of snippets of the song like 2 years before they came out

One thing to understand about the paradigm of Greek mythology is they often operated in terms of fate, if you got a prophecy like that you know your only options are A) you kill the kid B) the kid murders you and your entire family. Not only that but in the song Odysseus gets a personal guarantee that the gods themselves will be involved in making sure that happens. As the verses "The blood on your hand is something you won't loose / all you can choose is whose." imply, to Odysseus this is not a choice of whether to kill an infant, it's a choice of whether to kill an infant or kill his own family by proxy.

Yeah, that's where Traumatizing Saga starts. Just a Man has a lot of foreshadowing for upcoming events and basically started "Odysseus' (and the viewers) getting traumatized" journey. Next song will be "Full Speed Ahead" with animatic by WolfyTheWitch. I think they are the only person who made an animatic for that song.

This is ABSOLUTELY a series you need to watch. I heavily recommend getting a list of the song order so the animatics you see/listen too tell the story in the right order! It very much enhances the experience. Gigi has most of my personal favorites but a few of her's arent the entire songs like some. Trust, you'll LOVE the rest of it and likely get some tear jerkers.

If you plan to go through the whole thing and are using the first playlist that comes up when you search for "Epic the musical Animatics", I recommend looking for another one, or getting one recommended. It works just fine for the first two sagas, but from thereon, it starts to include snippets of songs instead of the full ones, and even uses some not finished songs in there. Have seen about 3 or 4 reacters fall for that so far, so I'm just out here putting up warning signs. If the playlist you're using includes any video shorter than 2 minutes, it includes unfinished songs.

I second this completely, with only one change: gigi's Ruthlessness flows better when going from her Keep Your Friends Close. Honestly though, I think we'd all rather see you react to both versions, because Ruthlessness animatics are all so good, and those two are the best!

@@SmallMight5968 Gigi's is also a great choice. I love her version but I love the shock that I first got with Anna's. And I feel like so many reactors just end up doing Gigi's versions of all the songs they've done, which is fair because Gigi is amazing, but I love seeing different takes

Well the creator got inspiration of Hamilton but epic is vocal singing than rap.

I thinc people don't pay enough attention to everything that is said in the songs, because literally in the first song when Odysseus has an argument with Zeus, about solving the problem with the child, Odysseus gives every possible way to spare the child, and there is a part where Odysseus says how he will make sure that the child doesn't know of his true family, so that Odysseus can spare him and raise him to not be an avenger that Zeus tells him he will be, and Zeus literally tells him "The GODS will make him know" which literally means, maybe you will raise him, but me or some other god will tell him about what you did to his real family, and literally gave Odysseus an ultimatum, kill this child or I will make this child a problem for you in the future.

@PetarSon it's not really that zues will one to do it, this war has gods on both sides, and the baby is a hail merry of the other gods so they will the baby not to lose the war.

Hi, I love your reaction, just be careful of the playlist that you choose because sometimes the songs are not complete and it's just a bit of the song, you should listen to full songs to grasp the entire situation!

Hello, i recomend you pause epic until the 4th of july and re-do the first two songs, because the troy and cyclops saga are getting re-released, so you should listen to that versions
