I think the main message behind the visuals in this video is just how absurd it is to expect him to personally intervene with every little kid that buys his album when it's totally not his job to do so. They expect him to be some kind of super hero and protect the children from his songs, when in reality, it would be impossible to do so, and it's their parent's responsibility in the first place.

They want slim, not Marshall. There are 3 distinct personas, slim is the silly insulting one, Marshall is him and the one who raps his really serious songs, and Em is the rap god. He often hated that the mainstream loved slim so much because he is the least talented of his personas lyrically.

Just to be accurate, he wasn't giving the kid his cd with the warning on it, he was taking it away. Evidenced by the beginning with the inattentive mother not paying attention to the kid getting the cd. A comment on parents outrage that their kids were listening to his music and blaming him. Parents blaming him for not parenting their children. He even talked before about how he is a father and he didn't let his daughter listen to his music. He did however sing her songs that he wrote just for her.

Its a throwback to when Eminem went really popular and Walmart was selling CDs, There was a big to do about his CD needing a warning label for language on it to warn parents from buying it for their kids. MTV got in on it and wanted to ban his videos due to language. in the end, he put the label on the CDs and he won the war.

MTV did actually ban him for awhile, but as he says "It feels so empty without me". They lost the big ratings they had with his videos, so they lifted the ban.

I knew who Dre was but didn't really know Dre. This totally put him on the map for me. He came up with so many great beats for so many great songs. I know him the minute I hear it now.

There are 3 "Egos" Slim Shady (Spazzing out comedy), Eminem (Lyricist to the extreme) , and Marshal Mathers (More serious and mature). His music today feels like an even mix between Em and Marshal.

I like the story with the kid and the cd. Basically it is, parents being upset that there kids get exposed to "the bad" Eminem music but who is to blame when the cd have the Parents Advisory label on it?

Limp Bizkit is still around. Their lead singer Fred Durst actually had a little bit of beef with Em but not anymore as far as I'm aware. As a matter of fact I believe they were cool with each other before the beef. Actually you should check out Limp Bizkit's song ''Break Stuff'' you might see some familiar faces. Afterwards you should check out Em's song ''The Real Slim Shady'' in which you'll see a familiar face again. As for Em's crew it's D-12. Just throwing out a random recommendation but their song ''Purple Pills'' is a solid one.
