My dad and my uncle were almost moved to tears and so was I. The most beautiful and heartfelt version of this song. He didn't just sing those words, he MEANT them.

Dan Vasc has a God given talent, doesn't he? He sings this song the way it was meant to be sung. He draws you into it with his emotions. Then builds it up to the powerful last verse where you truly FEEL every word of the song. He's incredible!!! Imagine the lives he has touched with this video. I'm a huge fan of Dan Vasc. I listen to any video by him that I can find on KZread. He is a superstar on the rise as far as I'm concerned. And this rendition of Amazing Grace is the best version of this lovely old hymn I've ever heard. Thanks for putting it on your channel. I never tire of hearing him sing it.

This song waited 250 years to be sung as it always should have been: the testimony of the journey of faith, starting from the reverent shyness of the recent convert to the explosion of joy of the son who - recognized and accepted - throws himself into the arms of the Father. Daniel is a musical genius: he takes any song he wants and transforms it into something better... and transforms himself into the song he sings. He commented that, as his Faith grew stronger, he began to be more careful with the songs he chose - trying to bring people only messages of joy, hope, pure power and gratitude.
