It's a generational thing. I likely wouldn't recognize some of the 2x age public figures that a lot of them would recognize instantly. I'm old enough to be many reactors grandparent.

@@gk5891 True. But it is sad. I'm 36 and I used to watch Andy Griffith, Gilligan's Island, Hogan's Heroes, Mash, Bewitched, etc. The newer generations will never even realize these shows existed. And the ones that do will scream for it to be cancelled because something about it offended them... God some of the reactions to Married With Children horrified me just because these kids got so pissed over Al's fat jokes. Which were mostly written by the female cast members... Including Katy Segal... And if you need more proof, look at the fate of Dukes Of Hazzard. Quit this shit! F.U. cancel culture. Go the fuck away.

@@gk5891 Andy is different. He is syndicated on like 10 different channels. I understand at the look. Once you hear the voice? And I am 42.

My husband of 30 years passed away August 2022. He'd act like he was really upset and then under his breath say, "you one hot mama, tho!" I know he's in some kind of muscle car, music loud, waiting on me as usual! This is the first time I've been able to post anything about him! I miss him terribly!

The late great Andy Griffith loved him. Andy is still waiting on his wife Cindi she is still with us. Awesome reaction. I am going 1st My hubby of 44 yrs. will be the one left behind i have terminal cancer it is just a matter of time. I pray to God that i get one more trip around the sun everyday.

Wonderful reaction. I remember the day Andy Griffith died. My momma and me watch this video and just cried. My momma been waiting on a bench for me since 2013.

My Dad has been waiting for mom since 2015. I can picture him up there sitting on his horse telling her to take her time because this is one time he doesn't mind that she's always late.

Andy Griffith is absolutely Legendary! Being from N.C. it was a show that I grew up on. It's still on Today. Brad Paisley and Andy worked really well together for this Video. I can't imagine anyone else doing Andy's part.

Andy Griffith.. my ole man taught me that every episode had a life lesson everyone can learn. And now I'm 27 years old teaching my kids the same thing.

My dad watched the Andy Griffith Show every day. It was on in syndication at 5pm on one of our local channels.

You're the first one who knew who Andy Griffin was. Much applause.

This was Andy's next to last time being on film.

Andy will always be, legendary.

No this was made in 2008 and he lived for 4 more years he died in 2012 of a heart attack

The end of the video was kind of prophetic. Given that it was almost the last thing that Andy was in. Shortly before he died. And the way that he's sitting all alone wearing white, on an empty beach waiting on a woman presumably his wife to join him.
