Hello and nice to see You again with a reaction to ABBA songs remember that ABBA was the Swedish pop group that leads in 70s, after BEATLES decade They was two couples: Agnetha (blonde singer) & Björn (guitarist songwriter) Benny (pianist songwriter) & Anni Frid (brunette singer) ABBA was famous to win the Eurovision Song Contest in England 1974 with your iconic glam rock "Waterloo" "The winner takes it all" is for me the best interpretation of a song that I heard in my life by any singer or band It is interpretation, because it is more than just singing, it is also acting and transmitting, and Agnetha does all that and on a superlative level Beyond the morbid that the story of this song produces (the lyrics of a divorce written by the guitarist Björn and sung by his ex-wife Agnetha), the structure reflects a change in ABBA songs: it is the first time that whoever has the leading voice has been alone from beginning to end, She goes one way and the choirs go the other (they do not add up, they remain in the background) and in the end She is left alone passive and exposed, while the chorus and the music finish so up That is why I feel that Agnetha does an extraordinary performance (extraordinary: out of the ordinary) Her face is always very expressive and accompanies the various tones and nuances of her majestic vocalization. (I remember her in other songs like: "I've been waiting for You" "S.O.S." "My love my life" "Thank you for the music" "Chiquitita") You could check it anyone of this list to future reactions "The winner takes it all" is a great song, it's in my ABBA Top 5 It is the favorite of British fans, but fundamentally is the one chose by Björn (for His composition) and Agnetha (for Her interpretation) and Your own words is the one that is worth more

There have been thousands of brilliant pop songs in the history of pop music but not many are true music masterpieces but The Winner Takes It All IS an absolute Musical Masterpiece..an all time timeless classic

Tthis is my favorite song from Abba, with Thank you for the music, and "Happy New Year"..... These kind of songs are still being released in Europe, where deep or sad lyrics can be combined with optimism and/or dancing and Morden vibes ..... You should try Mylène Farmer, best selling female artist in French speaking countries since 40 years ( like "Désenchantée" Live Stade de France 2009, or the crazy outrance "Avant Que l'ombre" Live à Bercy 2006), Thanks a lot for the way you are reacting in your videos, just subscribed ;)

Nice to see you with another song of ABBA this is a Masterpiece of ABBA And a fantasic interpretation by the lead singer, the blonde Agnetha Fältskog, with Her emotional and powerful voice (She has a soprano voice) the video is a TV perfomance in Germany in the same TV special, the following song was "Super trouper" with the lead voice by the other singer, the brunette Frida (she has a mezzo soprano voice) You could check it to react and see the different voices of ABBA

ABBA were "giants of pop music" of the 70s (early 80s) years. Always lyrics from real life, always perfectly arranged songs. Examples: "Dancing Queen" (good mood song), "Eagle" (contemplative), "Knowing Me, Knowing You" and "One Of Us" (heartache). Then a completely different proposal. "Wonderous Stories" by Yes. There's a cute (official) live video of that.

Summer Night City and Eagle are 2 of my favourite ABBA songs

Ah Milly, Milly, Milly I’m getting used to being stuck down memory lane with all your reactions; however, you won’t hear a single peep of objection out of me! So far you have been hitting about nine out of ten that are my old favorites; and with you doing that it feels like I’m back in my twenty’s again, but then the song stops and all the aches and pains return reminding me of my real age; what a shame that youth, health and vitality, are wasted on the young. Hi Milly, ABBA was a Swedish band that during the 70's (particularly during the disco craze) sold millions and millions of records worldwide.. The 2 male members of the band spoke good English, the two female members, though able to understand English when listening to it, had real trouble speaking and singing in English. From old interviews it is rather obvious that maybe especially Agnetha seemed not very comfortable speaking english in public, but I have never heard that they had "real trouble" singing in english. They recorded more than 10 of their songs in very good spanish, judging from the comments on the songs, without speaking the language at all.

Bjorn e and Agnetha had recently divorced. Benny had this tune with no words. One day Bjorn, having worked all night, brought in his lyrics. Agnetha probably did her best ever performance (though there are so many to choose from).

ABBA (pronounced Ah-Bah) - the group's name made up of the first initials of each band member, who were two married couples. Both marriages ended in divorce. I think it was Bjorn who wrote this & had his soon to be ex-wife sing lead vocals. Talk about awkward, huh? It is said that Bjorn found a new girlfriend within weeks of the divorce. Benny had a side chick while he was married to Anni-frid. Both women eventually got remarried themselves. ABBA is considered a supergroup being as they were a musical sensation all over the world, hitting #1 in many other countries outside of their native homeland of Sweden. While most bands have a "signature sound", ABBA is unique in that most of their songs sound completely different from each other. That is because ABBA always delved into other genres of music. So they have a library of tunes that sounds like old school funk, disco, rock, pop, & even Spanish "flamenco" style influence (in the songs "Fernando" & "Chiquitita"). Good reaction but it feels like u dont know the stort behind the song. Singer Agneta was married to Björn on guitarr. He left her for Agnetas best friend. So this song is about their divorce. Imagine how pro she was for performing the song standing next to her unfatithful ex husband.
