people who hate on lars, he is just living in their head rent free 😁 hating on lars is just a bunch of people who can't think for themselves, Hivemind. He's nowhere near where he used to be in the 80's, 90's and early 2000's but you can't deny that he was good. Lars is still good in each record they release 😝

This song is one of the greatest. This song is down tuned to sound more darker, like Black Sabbath songs. You are obviously a large Metallica fan.

“Black album” still sells better than 99% of new albums from other metal bands.

For me that song never was about some inner demons, or inner darkness. It is song simply about human as a whole. Story teller not just by some metaphorical inner dark figure, manifested out of that human’s acts, but simply he’s ego, his true face and true thoughts, so tired from the fact that it hiding from reality by blaming everything but himself, and later from blaming even himself, but not making any decisions to change something, that it just stop caring anymore, and straight up says that there is no any other reason behind all our misfortunes, then our decisions that we made fully aware of consequences that will follow after said decisions.

This album will always be one of my favourites ever! I highly recommend "My friend of misery" from it, a criminally underrated song you'll love!

James Hetfield was writing about his own alcoholism without realizing it for nearly a decade. Food for thought. Fucking amazing song, and great reaction! ^_^

Aside from the obvious radio hits, the Black Album has some gems - Through The Never, My Friend of Misery and The Struggle Within are bangers!

32 years since the album was released….and after all these years the album still sells more than one million copies yearly ( I have read it)…..crazy 🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘🤘….insanely good production

I remember where I was when I first heard this album and song. I always took to be a song about an internal and external conflict. The inner person is sometimes evil but the eyes and thoughts while the outer is the mask to cover up whats really happening. Great reaction Lilly! Enjoy your day!

The God That Failed is my favorite off this album!

I know it's a cliché but my favourite song off the black album is nothing else matters, was the first Metallica song I can remember hearing (after Enter Sandman) and the first I ever learned to play on my bass. 🎸
