I think it's crazy so many of y'all are judging these kids lmao. Most of them are obviously hearing these songs for the first time, and even if they aren't and are kind of fans (like vivienne), they're obviously enjoying it. Why the hate? Just let them vibe, jesus. As someone who loves Metallica and is around their age, let them headbang lol. Seeing them headbang means they like it, which as Metallica fans, you should be appreciating. Not judging just cause they aren't as diehard as you want them to be.

You can tell which ones don't really listen to metal music but I think they were all still jamming out. Hell, Vivienne literally broke her headphone cord bc she was headbanging so hard.

My sons are 19 years apart. They both love metal. I took the older one to see Metallica, 'cause he introduced me to them. 20 years later, I took the younger one to see Metallica. But the very best was when they both played Metallica, together, as they can both play guitar. I'm one proud metal mom! 😁🎸

Love these kids saying "It's more chill" to one of Metallica's most depressing songs, because they didn't play the fast part of One. When they Tremolo Pick the E string before the E5 power chord to F5 power chord.

Viv and Jaxon are my two favorites on the show, because they just kinda GET it...I remember back when Jaxon was in his early teens reacting to stuff and he was just....getting it. Viv is also dope, just like Jaxon she gets it, she's got great taste in music.

James Hetfield ended up crying during the call cause Elton said that Nothing Else Matters was one of the best songs ever written to him.

I like Vivienne's quotes "This is nothing! Like dipping finger in the water." That is so true! And what Janelle said, people overlook the metal music and rarely try to reach under the surface to see all the emotions, stories, hidden messages etc. I am glad for every single non-metal fan, who can understand that. It's not about liking the metal music, but to understand that it's not just the heavy guitars and screaming, as most people think.

Parents: expose your children to rock and metal so they don’t turn into these kids.

YES! I'd love to see just a Cradle of Filth EP. I bet they go from hating it to loving it. Once they get that feel of Dani's voice being more of an instrumental addition, but not songs chronologically. You have to end it with one of their best songs like "Cruelty Brought Thee Orchids" or "Nymphetamine" or "Beauty Slept in Sodom" or "Bathory Aria" or... (I could go on and on) and DEFINITELY do much better research when you're explaining the songs, themes, lyrics and albums!

I’m just glad kids are getting to know metal, and I would encourage everyone to let them explore at their own rhythm, and gatekeepers should abstain live and let die.

I was a pro wrestler for about 20yrs & I'd always listen to "One" as I got dressed. The way it built intensity was PERFECT for psyching up & getting into the headspace for my matches...

Vivienne might not know any movies, but she knows her music.

DANG! Vivienne got the gutturals locked down 😂 I love her excitement. The Vivienne and Jaxon clutched headbang was AMAZING LOL. I love how Janelle touched on how often metal is overlooked as just screamy scream music when a lot of it really does have depth. I think more and more lyrics are ignored over the music itself. Read into the lyrics, a song may just transform to something entirely new for you. THE FACT that Jaxon picked up on not liking Lars' drum tone for St. Anger is hilarious 🤣 That snare is iconic in all the wrong ways. I personally didn't hate that album but yeah, the snare tone was not great lol. These are my favorite videos with Angel in them. She always seems to resonate with these.

I love Metallica so much and I am going to see them in Madrid this year with my dad. My dad has seen them 14 times and he is 46 😭

Man, I love Angel so much and love watching her get introduced to rock and hard rock bands and the fact that she seems to enjoy most of it cuz a lot of those bands are artists I grew up on. It's so wholesome and badass at the same time haha

I worked at a CD store (don’t even exist anymore) the summer of 1996 right after “Until it Sleeps” came out. I had to listen to it a million times a day as part of a compilation music set that was played all day every day. It’s probably the only metal song I actually know, but I still love it! 🥰

Google the lyrics kids. We had to read album liner lyrics. This is thrash, not exactly the loudest metal, but it's pretty close. I'm 61 and listen to Gojira. You should listen to Amazonia by Gojira as a "gateway" to the genre. Black metal is not Death metal. Black metal has subject matter that is positive. Gojira is an environmental advocacy band. It's got a great video too. The drummer, Mario, is epic.

It sucks host didn't include the Unforgiven. That song is so popular, it should be included to there list.

Honestly I love the genuine enthusiasm of the blonde girl. It's obvious she likes the music and is enjoying herself and having fun, which makes watching this vid that more enjoyable. I'm also surprised at the rest of the gang being able to discover, appreciate and enjoying Metallica.
