Yes! He is on point and the voices sound actually like Celine Dion and Andrea bocelli!

He was orphaned at age 7 and raised himself on the streets of a poverty ridden city in Phililpines. He started singing to ease his fear and loneliness. He cleaned chicken coops for coins and sang to the chickens. He is completely self taught and has had no musical training of any kind. He sings in 6 languages, male and female voices, and all genres of music. He has a charity that reaches the poor and in need people in The Phillipines where he actually works himself in building houses, etc. What is so remarkable is that in spite of everything he has been through, he remains kind, humble, and gentle. He is an amazing man. Btw, he was on AGT The Champions and did not win. There was a scandal about it that the results were actually decided before or early on in the show. This happened 2 months before Covid, so it was covered up. Marcelitos' reaction was to not pursue it. His only regret was losing the money for his charity.

There was already several italian reactors that listened to this that I've watched and they all are unanimous in saying that marcelito has got the italian enunciation spot on.

Marcelito grew up on the streets because he was orphan. In 2011 he won Philipines' got talent and he finally reunited with his family.

I think he _was_ on a talent show, he lost weirdly to someone else but he won our hearts. Apparently, Marcelito is completely self-taught, he had a really rough life and sang to comfort himself. The ability to switch between registers and _impressions_ (this was a really good Celine Dion and a really good Andrea Boccelli, sorry if I butchered their names) on the fly like that is remarkable. Truly a talent of a generation.

He competed in America's Got Talent and won 4th spot. It was not auto tune or pitch corrected, I have watched another reaction done by a sound tech and this particular video was analyzed, its legit live performance.

A great initial reaction. Thank you. Marcelito is a counter tenor which is a very rare voice type. You may have heard another who sings pop songs Mitch Grassi of Pentatonix. He won Filipinos Got Talent in 2011 and came in first of the singers on America's Got Talent Champions Edition just before covid quarantine started. For this duet he is doing The Prayer as sung by Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli which is his signature song. The technique is called dual voice or doble kara and is well known in the Philippines. There is usually no autotune or pitch correction on any Filipino singer. The Wish Bus is a mobile radio station in the Philippines traveling around the many islands that make up the country. Marcelito will ordinarily sing a duet with an audience member at his concerts taking either the male or female part as needed which is quite fun to hear. He adapts very quickly to any new voice he is singing with. Try Marcelito and Morissette singing Secret Love Song at the 2nd Annual Wish Awards and you will hear a completely different voice from him and get introduced to another major artist from the Philippines. I have seen a reaction, but don't remember who, where an Italian singer was with him to check how accurate his Italian portions were. His pronunciation was very good, but he evidently left out a syllable or two. I think that means he learned to sing it by listening only. Neither English nor Italian is his native language, of course, which makes it even more phenomenal. Great reaction!!!

CF, Great response to what you were seeing and hearing. Amazing isn't it? I have made this comment before but would like to share it with you. Two personalities, Celine & Andrea, Female and male sounds precisely executed, in two languages - neither one is his native language which is Tagalog. I have a theory: Marcelito, is, of course, gifted with an unbelievably beautiful voice, but it is his BRAIN that can MEMORIZE exactly what he HEARS and his marvelous voice allows him to recreate it PRECISELY, even female voices, minute inflections in other singer's voices, and in accurate pronunciation of foreign languages. That strange thing that he does with his mouth after the song is because the Sound Engineers were teasing him about having a 'female voice' so he was 'removing' it. Marcelito is humble with a great sense of humor and a charming stage presence. Well, enough - I thought you might enjoy some insight into this gifted singer. Cheers.
