So glad you reacted to IU btw, she's an amazing person and is so so talented. She's basically South Korea's sweetheart from what I know. Singer, actress, lyricist and philanthropist, she excels at everything. She's definitely one of my absolute favorite artists of all time! I just finished her kdrama called Hotel Del Luna last week and that shit had me laughing, smiling and crying all at the same time. 10 out of 10, would definitely recommend!

Just a small fact for you to understand who is IU, even with all the kpop groups she is considered as "Korea's little sister" and also #1 in all charts whenever she releases a song and also she is an actress.

The message I get from this song is keep you're distance from artists and give them the privacy they want. They don't know you personally nor do they owe you anything.

IU is the queen of Korea. She is the queen of all our hearts. Pretty, talented, amazing singer AND actress, mature, humble, big heart, IU is literally perfect lol

You basically understood the whole message of the song immediately. Good job! It's basically a warning to stay the fuck out of her private life and to stop microanalysing every single expression she makes, something which is very common for Kpop Stans. An idol will literally blink a few times and they'll get a whole comment thread started with people theorizing if maybe the artist is tired and stressed and basically start whole conspiracy theories on what may be wrong with them. It's ridiculous.

If you want a good sample of IU's diversity, her "Killing Voice" on the dingo music YT channel is fantastic. For specific songs that showcase her diversity, I recommend Dear Name - MMA 2017 Live Performance (ballad), Meaning of You (Classic Korean remake), Palette (Pop/RNB), dlwlrma (Jazz), The Red Shoes (Jazz), Blueming (Pop/Pop Rock), Hold My Hand - 2019 Live Performance (Pop/Pop Rock), eight - Official M/V (Pop), Strawberry Moon (Synth Pop). Oh and Jam Jam - Live (no idea what genre I'd class this as but it's amazing). As for acting, My Mister is her best performance and best show, but Hotel Del Luna, the Producers and Persona are all good for very different reasons too.

i feel you when you said that she can be in a movie. Her eyes gives so much emotion. That's what captivated me when i saw first saw her in the series Hotel del Luna. and yes i knew her as an actress first, before knowing her as a singer. And like me, im sure youll be amaze on how amazing she is as a singer and song-writer.

IU is the answer when you goggling : "singer with most number one song in south korea digital chart" . She's a senior in kmusic/ kpop, debuted in 2008 as 15/16 years old girl, as pure soloist. this song, Bbibbi (well, I dont this is a good or bad news for you, lol) is quite a rare items from her. Its one of her most savage songs, most English lyrics' percentage, and her first take to alternative-RnB/ soft rap like ;p And she wrote her own lyrics as well ... I recommend Blueming MV and Blueming live concert version if you want to make IU's journey :)

I think keeping the production more minimalist makes sure the message is more clearly sent. Her songs tend to have more going on.

It's the same sound in Korean but here it doesn't mean pager. BBIBBI is like korean sound of beep beep, a warning sign. 비(korean letter) sound like BI but 삐 sounds a lot stronger than BI so they put that sound BBIBBI.

Funny you said she could be in a movie. Her big movie debut just happened recently at none other than cannes freaking festival. And she already got 2nd votes in best actress in a festival full of film experts and critiques, almost won it😂 Queen things
