So yes, Jennie is the face of the group, and unofficial leader of blackpink, you got many instances that actually picture the truth of this, even her fellow members acknowledge it. There are always fans within the fandom, who seem scared and reluctant to give Jennie credit where credit is due, and are triggered by other people praising her.

Rosé is the best in vocals and Jisoo is the Visual. It's not an insult, it's the TRUTH so why are you getting offended? And the reason Lisa always get the rap parts is because Jennie wanted to explore her vocals more since she wasn't able to do that during trainee. Lisa should do the same too to improve her vocals.

@@InaPenaten m/v was shot after a full concert using the same stage, stage props and stage lighting. In other words they used the concert budget and not the usual big spending m/v production budget typical of YG.

Jennie is very versatile, you will know it when you hear her rap in other songs, she puts a different touch through lyrics and melody, she definitely lives up to her Main rapper title.

btw, the backdrop is not a screen, if you watch the behind the scenes or "the making of" those are all actual sets that was built for the video. BP almost never uses greenscreen

thanks, her first solo which is called SOLO was my introduction to Kpop/BlackPink as well. Still not into Kpop but Jennie seeped into my heart and soul that I made an exception for her and BlackPink. They make individual music and collaborate outside the group but they try to come back every 1.5 to 2 years as a group

A little about Blackpink...there are 4 members, Jisoo (Gee-Sue), Jennie, Rose' (Rose-ay like the wine), and Lisa. Jisoo and Jennie were born in Korea but Jennie moved to New Zealand at age 8, and returned to Korea at age 14 to pursue here music career. Rose' is Korean but born in New Zealand but moved to Australia at age 7. YG Entertainment, one of the big 3 companies in Korea, held auditions in Australia and she was chosen and moved to Korea at age 15 to train. Lisa, from Thailand, also auditioned when YG came there was chosen so she moved to Korea and age 14 to train. Blackpink debuted in August 2016 and over the past 7 years grew enormously in popularity, not just in Korea but globally. There MVs are fire and some have had over a billion views.
