I am so happy she released this as a single. I remember seeing them in concert and was so surprised she had a new song! Usually groups breakup and some members go solo but I really love how these girls are both a group and do their own solo songs at the same time. They let each other shine together and apart.

I think this one just goes together better. The rap verse is Jennie telling us like a secret. And then the dance is this intense push pull style which is going along with the relationship. I like this version a lot more.

Which she loves more she will keep it a secret so that means throughout the song she kept saying i love you and me (it could mean i love us being together and it could mean i love u and i love me). The rap verse was delibirately set at the end to send the punchline. It's a song that leaves you hanging with her last line of "i love you and me."

I'm actually surprised they didn't use the "you're the reason my heart skips drops..." section. They obviously know what they're doing but I thought after the rap section they'd transition back into it once more just because that line and the next are the catchiest IMO. And maybe it's better that they didn't do that, it's more just what I'd expect some producers to do.
