First time join Shoton festival in Tibet, never expect it's such impressive
This is my first time to join Shoton festival, I'm very excited to show you the biggest religion festival in Tibet and what tibetan people do in this festival, I didn't expect there are so many activities and people enjoy it so much.
I got up at 4:00 am to join the ceremony of Buddha exposing to sun in Drepung Monastery in Lhasa, I think at least half Tibetan in Lhasa come to worship.
After the ceremony there is Tibetan opera in Lhasa park, it's hard to understand but people still like to watch and this tradition is from the time of 5th Dalai lama.
Horse race is very popular in Tibet cos there are a lot of grassland here and also connected with local life.
In the end of this video it shows the local life, what tibetan people like to do in their holidays, this is already becomes one importan tibetan culture.

The Tibetans are free & if it's up to your Dalai Lama they will be working & slaving in the field. Do you really like to know the word freedom, you look it up in the Oxford dictionary. These Tibetans are dancing & singing is a display of their freedom. Stop spreading hate & division, are you an echo chamber.

in acient time china and india were like best friend but because of muslim invasion we got seperated many chinese were killed in india who came to study indian religionlike hindu and buddhism , by the muslim invaders tibetan language and indian script is 90% same but word meaning is different and both are connected by culture @@malorybertie8046

Tibetan culture is different from the Chinese culture, especially the communist culture of China of today. The CCP culture of China is like poison. In other words there is nothing in the communist culture that helps humanity but only to harm. The essential features of CCP culture are violence, lying & cheating, hiding & stealing, robbery and intimidation. So compared to the CCP culture, the Tibetan, much influenced by Buddhism, is peaceful and democratic.
