Take you to Visit the First and Oldest Tibetan Buddhist Monastery - Samye Monastery

Tashi Delek!
Today I will share my day trip to Samye Monastery with you.
Samye Monastery is the first and the oldest Tibetan Buddhist monastery built in the 8th century. The main hall of Samye Monastery consists of three styles. The first floor is in Tibetan style, the second floor is in Chinese Style, and the third floor is in Indian Style.
Most tourists coming to Samye Monastery just visit the main hall. It is worth visiting, but not all of this sacred monastery. After visiting the main hall, I highly recommend you visit the demon house, as Samye Monastery is said to be built by demons, gods, and humans.
On that lucky day, I also saw the monks debating and happened to meet the practice of Tibetan traditional monk dance. So if you visit Samye Monastery, it is suggested to spend some time wandering around the monastery.
Also, you can refer to my itinerary. Just start from the main hall, pass the demon house, pass through the Chok chapel, and finally enjoy the panoramic view of Samye Monastery from Hipori Mountain.
Hope you will enjoy my video as usual.
Thanks for supporting me. Every encouragement and sponsorship from you is the driving force for me to continue to shoot and explore beautiful Tibet. Fund me a cup of tea, a meal, a liter of oil, or a glass of beer, and I will continue to work hard to bring you more exciting videos. Our PayPal account: travel@vip.163.com

yes ,this monastery was the first tibetan Buddhism temple in Tibet .it changed Tibet's history .after Tibet accepted Buddhism tibetan became a group of docile people . the monks were soldiers who should die on the battles.not only Tibet ,tibetan Buddhism made Mongolia empire collapsed, made Qing dynasty became a big closed Bhutan after Qing's kings became followers of tibetan Buddhism . not just subscribed it,one thousand of tibetan Buddhism temples were built in Qing's Beijing ,like another lhasa appeard in China .this temple changed the entire history of China .

The stupas are red, green, and black, I've never seen that before! The gardens outside are in western style, so Samye actually has FOUR styles lol. 7:27 and there are the gods and demons bound to oath by Padmasambhava. Also, when Samye was damaged by fire it was restored by Ra Lotsawa Dorje Drak with his money and magic. 10:57 Thank you for the Dharma teaching! 12:12 Atisha the Great said the library of Samye was bigger than Buddhist libraries in India.

When it rains in Dharamsala . I always think about Tibet . I can see our family’s tibetan house. there are always a lot of happy laughs in it . behind the house is a snow mountain . before the house is a clear river. I left my home and came to India since many years ago . when I climbed over that snow mountain I was young ,but can I climb the same snow mountain back to Tibet at now ? can I find the same way leading me to my home ? can I still recognize my home after so many years of separation? . When it rains in Dharamsala I always heard a sound mixed in the raindrops . it seems so remote but still clear enough to listen . suddenly I understand it it’s the sound from Tibet calling me go home . ...... I stand up with a walking stick in my hand. open the door and walk into the rain. although I can’t see anything clearly through thick rain ,as long as I follow that sound I definitely can go home . I keep walking . I fell in the mud but try to stand up ,keep walking . I walk more and more slowly can't walk anymore only my soul keep moving forward with that sound . The rain stops . That sound disappears. A rainbow appears in the sky . One side of the rainbow is dharamsala The other side of the rainbow is Tibet I stand muddy under the rainbow with the walking stick, don’t know where to go .

Thank you my Dear, l cannot go over the beauty of the sky in Tibet in contrast to the colourful monasteries, and houses. You have to forgive me,but l had to smirk over your comment: sorry we cannot get up to third floor of the monastery, the Indian part, ....but let’s go and explore the beautiful toilet....look it’s really clean. 😉 It’s a fantastic idea to have a demon, God, and Human House, as good and evil exist everywhere together in the world, where humans are, like dark and light. They people have been very wise. The landscapes, where these beautiful monasteries are located you are showing us are perfect for peace of mind, and meditating. Sweetness pure. Thank you for today’s visit bringing us with you. ❤️🇦🇺💀👹👼
