Rest in peace, yes Vicente Fernandez was an icon in Mexico and beyond it’s borders. And definitely well known all over Mexico and abroad. Specially In the Spanish speaking world where Mexican music was played. His voice open the door for him and took him to fame . May God bless his soul 🙏

This is the King of Ranchera. He is one of the most respected singers of Latin America. He is also an actor. Women love him (especially Mexicans). His son is a great singer, as well. Their concerts together were legendary. The concerts on his horse were very popular. There are two Mexican dinestys the Fernandez Dinesty and the Aguilar Dinesty.

The king of Mariachi! You should also check out Chalino Sanchez live performance where he was handed a note by a cartel saying to stop singing and leave or he would be killed. He put the letter in his pocket and finished the show. Was kidnapped and killed after leaving that show.

Chente is a Mexican institution and the voice in every cantina jukebox in Latin América. Hes son has an amazing voice to, but Chente's is, I think, better.
