I’ve seen them live 7 times now. This is basically how they sound. Sure they use some effects sometimes. But they are 4 genuinely talented musicians.

This is one of their more "consumer-friendly" songs (Sober being the other one). You said you like "change-ups"? You have no idea my brother. At times, correct me Army if I'm wrong, Tool has the drums, the bass, the guitar, and the vocals each in their own time signature. But they always come back or switch up which instrument drives the song. It's an experience. This is all before you break down the lyrics. Then, mind blown.

TooL is one of the most unique bands ever....my fave all time, in a world filled with music, they sound like no one and no one sounds like them...take the journey!

Every Tool song is a journey. Try to stick to lyric videos or official audio. Official videos can be distracting from the music at times. 46&2, Lateralus, Parabol/Parabola are all dope 🔥

My favorite reaction style (subscribed). Spread Tool out (week/s between songs) while you're building your subscribers. I've been following (Tool) reactors for about four years now (not proud of it, haha) and for whatever reason, the ones who latch onto Tool (and everything Maynard) as their only reactions seem to go away quickly after the content runs out. And, believe it or not, that is NOT even how Maynard usually sounds when he sings. Maynard has an incredibly convincing style range; he is not just a rock singer. Maynard James Keenan also sings in a band call A Perfect Circle and sings his own project called Puscifer. He also is a hands-on authentic wine grower: Merkin Vineyards and Caduceus Cellars, out of Rome, AZ. Mr. Keenan also owns an Italian restaurant there as well.

Those growling base sounds are amazing.

Gotta credit Justins base reminds me of Entewhistle of the who it's like 1/2 the sound output. Tool would not be Tool without that beefy base. he even makes strange noises with it eerie noises.

Do yourself a favor and check out the band A Perfect Circles album mer de noms and just hit play and let it run!!! as well it's the same lead singer and in the same vein. Alot of great stuff there. Also Pusifer's song Rev 22:20. same singer Maynard James Keenan.
