Toby Keith had so many great songs so whether you need to hear something heartfelt, patriotic, romantic, sad, melancholy, inspiring, thoughtful, or just plain funny, yeah especially funny, then Toby’s got what you need. My favorite songs by Toby Keith are Who’s That Man; Wish I Didn’t Know Now; You Shouldn’t Kiss Me Like That; He Ain’t Worth Missing; We Were In Love; Upstairs Downtown; Don't Let the Old Man In; How Do You Like Me Now; Made in America; I Wanna Talk About Me; American Soldier; Trailerhood; A Little Too Late; A Little Less Talk and a Lot More Action; and of course Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue. RIP Toby, we miss you!

He had an amazing catalog from back in the 90’s. My favorite from back then is Who’s That Man. You need to explore so much more. You will be amazed

This was Toby's First HIT Song..... I believe it was 1995 (You Corrected me by looking up that is was 1993)...... His first album was more traditional.... Starting with is second album, he started playing more of his own style of songs they we all Know and Love....

Great reaction BTW this was before your time and mine too lol but the guy marshall dillon and the lady miss kitty were characters from an old cowboy tv show Gunsmoke and Gene and Roy are also old tv cowboys and now saying that I am realizing maybe there is a touch of sarcasm in this song. Cheers

Fun fact about this song Toby said in an interview when asked about this song he said he a some friends when hunting and on the way back home they stopped at a bar to get something to drink and one of his friends saw a pretty girl and asked her to dance and she told him no and when he went back and sat down a guy wearing a cowboy Jay asked her to dance and she said yes and Toby and the others Laughed at him and one of them told the guy you should have been a cowboy

I believe that's a mistake. Toby Keith wrote that song after the bar incident when they got back to their hotel rooms. He had to go into the bathroom to write it so he wouldn't wake up the guy he was sharing the room with. He told the story in an interview.
