Hopefully y'all have the understanding of the song, right? While I love the song it is sad because married people should never have extra marital affairs.... Realizing you and your lover are both married and you have to (do the right thing). Since you and her are both married, it never should have happened in the first place. This song hits my heart because of a past relationship I had. The song captured my heart because I know how I felt when my man was stepping out on me. Serious great music coming from the 70's. @@jellybeandaydream3956 I'm not sure, but I sure miss those days. It was a well known that in our area. Fresh homemade biscuits and the gravy was sugar, Hershey cocoa powder and carnation cream. It was so sweet (very) but us kids ate every bite.

@@jellybeandaydream3956 Also, at that time in the Appalachian area people that were poor rarely had treats for kids, so a pan of this fed a table full of kids breakfast. We weren't health conscious back then! We ate what Grandma put on the table, it wasn't an everyday thing, just weekends.
