This is hands down my favorite Japanese release of theirs. Actually one of my top favorite skz songs just period. It's so epic! Can you believe they made this song 3 YEARS AGO?!?!?!? They just have shit like this in their vault they can pull out at any time and that is insane to me! That's the beauty of making your own music. Their Japanese releases tend to not have subtitles for some reason. But ya throughout the year they do Korean album releases and Japanese. The Korean releases tend to be the big "main comebacks" but their Japanese songs slap as well as you can see!

What caught me by surprise was Bang Chan playing the drums.

It’s such a good song. I really loved everything about it. Yes Hyunjins voice in that second verse was immaculate, and Chan on drums is something we would all like to see more of.

These guys are insanely talented and amazing artists! This song blew me away the first time I heard it, very cinematic. Like BTS, their Japanese tracks just hit different 🔥 I find Stray Kids to be so unique and their sound is so distinctively them. Listening to their music with headphones or earbuds in is an experience because you can hear so many different sounds layered into their songs (i.e the siren playing in the background). Also if I were to drop any suggestions for your next Stray Kids reaction, it would be their whole discography 😂

Japanese releases (not just from Stray kids but kpop in general) tend to not have english subtitles for some reasons. I do not know why but there are some songs where they do add subtitles in english, Circus is one example and also a lot of BTS's Japanese songs.

The rest of the japanese album that this song is on dropped recently. AS I know you like metal, I would really recommend their song Battle Ground off that album (also titled The Sound), there are lyric videos for it, but it definitely gets me a huge heavy metal vibe.

Genius. Their lyrics in Korean, English, Japanese, and romanized are on Genius, among other lyrics sites.

STRAY KIDS have a new Japanese album about to drop. This song is off it, to whet our appetites! My understanding is that the reason they have a separate Japanese channel is partly related to copyright laws - Japan has very strict copyright laws (another reason why you won't see many fan recordings from concerts in Japan because you get fined if you get caught recording in concerts there). It is definitely worth keeping an eye on the Japanese channel because STRAY KIDS Japanese tracks (like this one) will always be posted there. Later, if they do a Korean version of a track as well, it goes up on their main Korean channel. If you remember, when you reacted to CIRCUS, it also had no English subtitles and was in Japanese. For THE SOUND they've also posted on the Japanese channel a behind the scenes video of them recording it in the studio, which you'd probably find interesting. The Japanese channel also posts dance practice and performance videos of their Japanese tracks. Of their Japanese tracks you haven't reacted to yet, I recommend SCARS to you: it has an MV, a dance practice video, and a whole bunch of performance and relay dance videos (including a silly Halloween themed one!). But my favourite SCARS version is actually the one they performed on THE FIRST TAKE - just them, no dancing, straight up live vocal performance. Their voices were always good but they just keep getting better and better!

You should totally catch their concert as they are coming to US for second time. I went to their first round when they were here last year and I am going again at the end of March in Los Angeles. They are amazing live and have a live band. I really think you would love it!

You could react to another Japanese song of theirs called Circus.

Thank you John for you reactions Stray Kids Japanese songs are just as much bangers as their Korean or English songs. There is some lyrical videos out there but they can be wrong for who is singing sometimes. The guy playing the drum is the same guy in the end shooting the arrow who is our fearless, amazing leader Bang Chan or some call him Christoper Bang or Chris. If you don't move on this song then you must be dead. because every time I hear it my creaky bones wants to dance. LOL I'm not going to recommend any songs. The list is too long and any you decide will be great. I catch you on the next stray kids video.

This is from the new Japanese album. Korean releases (which is the majority) will be on their main channel, which is Korean. Japanese releases, tailored specifically for and released primarily to the very insular Japanese market, will be on their Japanese channel. Japanese releases are the ones that won't have subtitles. They'll also usually be a bit more choreo-focused and have a slightly more polished sound, in line with what that market demands. In future -- probably on the next Korean album, which should be in a few months -- a Korean version of this song will most likely be released and thus be included on the main Korean channel (though there's unlikely to be an MV, there's sometimes other visual content, and there will at minimum be audio).

Okay, if you were ever to react to a Stray Kids song again, you need to react to their new song, Battle Ground, on this album. I really don't want to say too much but as a rock guy, I think it is a must. You'll want to watch a lyric video (there is no MV). Hope you enjoy.

Case 143 is really good MV and song, as you know I’m a BTS fan 1st, but man Stray kids are pulling me in as well, I may end up becoming a part time stay as well, they are the closets to BTS when it comes to concept, vocals, choreo, and not too shabby on their looks either😂😂 Flexi and Chris (Chan) have been pulling me in, they are the only ones who speak perfect English, and love their Aussie accents when speaking in English, their appearance on Daebak show for mindset with Eric Nam was hilarious and even more hilarious when they cooked with Ben & Will, I think Will is a little ham and stole the show

I thought it was a good song but I was disappointed they didn’t use Felix deep voice more to break up the higher notes. I really wish they would utilize him more in that way. 😢
