Yassss. I knew you'd like this one. Alkaline is probably my other favorite song of theirs. It would also be awesome if you would check out my friends in Starset! They're fantastic space rock/metal. Their biggest song is probably "Monster", but my personal favorites are "Other Worlds than these" and "Telekinetic".

The last part where he screams, you can feel the pain. It feels like a hit to your heart.

I love that you mentioned “we’re mortals and we don’t know what we have until we lose it” before the line actually came up. There is so much greatness in this band. Here for more! ST is by far the best band I’ll ever hear in my lifetime I think.

It’s part of a relationship. After all that’s come before on this album, and others, this is the wanting it back before being engulfed in the anger once again. EUCLID follows and is literally the closure of this entire journey. The healing and realisation that it’s okay to move forward, leave it all behind and become someone new…… and it’s beautiful.

A little introduction to Sleep Token: Sleep Token are a British band from London, formed in 2016. The group are an anonymous, masked collective led by a frontman using the name Vessel(the lead singer and primary songwriter of the band.) Vessel and ii(the drummer)are the only members of the band who have been credited as performers on Sleep Token's studio albums. ii is also the only member apart from Vessel who has been given songwriting credits. There are two more members that play bass(iii) and guitar(iv) when Sleep Token preforms live, and a few women who do live backing vocals known as the ’Vesselettes’ (hope I wrote that correctly). They don’t really fit into any genre… As for the lore, the band worships a deity by the name of Sleep, who is essentially omnipotent, everywhere at all times. Vessel discovered Sleep in a dream being promised magnificence in return for Vessel becoming a follower. Sleep Token’s songs are offerings to Sleep and depict Vessel’s relationship with them.

I think you can tell by the comments but us sleep token fans are obsessed. This entire album bangs on so many different styles. But don't let that stop you from checking out their other albums which are also amazing. I'd say check out dark signs, high water, alkaline and the love you want from previous albums but they have so many good ones.

Song of the year, song of my year.

Sleep Token is one of the most unique bands out there. If you want to listen to more of them, I recommend starting with their first full album (Sundowning) and then move onto their second album (This Place Will Become Your Tomb), and then end it with this album (Take Me Back To Eden). Make sure not to listen to the final song on this album though, Euclid. The three albums act as a trilogy and it comes full circle in a way. I've never experienced such an emotional and spiritual impact from music like Sleep Token. They are 100% an acquired taste, but it just hit me perfectly and I FELT their music in my soul. You're in for a great journey

I discovered ST in June and it's been my playlist since. Excellent reaction all of their songs have deep meaning. TMBTE is the end if a trilogy, it's even better if you listen in order but you'll still pick up the reoccurring themes between some of the songs!

This was my first sleep token song as well. I only really found out about them on drumeo. But ya since then I've been getting pretty deep into their library. Haven't found a bad song yet

If you like this, definitely check out The Summoning and Alkaline. Vessel's lyricism can't be beat. So clever, everything ties in together, everything tells just a piece of the story across multiple songs, and even albums. The dude's an absolute genius.
