You need to go tell GoHamm TV what he’s doing here ‘cos he don’t understand, haha. I think you’re right though, I don’t think this was a song with any particular deep message as such, it’s more just some fun and a showcase of REN’s skills. Though there’s definitely a theme here and not just bars for the sake of a rhyme, it reminds me of that old school Marley Marl thing of announcing yourself on the scene. Great reaction, good knowledge - a brag rap.

@Alexis Lopes Wrong. Incorrect. The lyrics do not say Ren is the monster. The lyrics say Ren MADE a monster. And like Frankenstein, the Hunger is composed of disjointed pieces - not topical. This allows Ren to display all of the tools he has at his disposal to conquer the music world. Ren is basically admitting that the song is not topical but a display of his skill set.

You can always tell the reactors that heard the song before because when stuff hits their brain even the quickest brains take a second to process. The ones that heard it before are actually reacting at the same time as it is said, No big deal but don't lie and say it is your "first time hearing it and reacting".. They are not very good actors, after listening to 100's of views it is easy to tell who heard it more than once and the first time real cold reactions.

Also when they seem genuine surprised in certain spots it is likely after a few or so runs they hear something new. After 10 times myself I still hear something new in the songs.

That's true what you said, when I listen I have to focus on his lyrics because they are unique along with his style. If I have heard before I am not going to say I haven't.

This song is a showcase, but if you know his story and his views, he mentions plenty about his struggle in some of these lines. If you don't know, then it just sounds like he's showing off. And even the fast lines make sense if you go back and read. This is a single facet to his overall talent.

I have that on my list of Ren songs to do.

The amount of times you paused and replayed, yet still got virtually every line wrong, lol! Ren always posts the lyrics under his videos and they're also available on most lric sites. It'll probably be easier to pull them up next time. :) Btw, don't get me wrong, I loved your reaction! :)

Really difficult to watch your videos when you pause so constantly. You can react while only pausing a few times. Plus give a synopsis at the end. Just can’t watch it when you pause at every thought you have. I like your demeanor, but you really need to pause much LESS.
