You are only touching the TIP of the iceberg... There is NO genre Ren can not do! He raps, sings, writes (musically and spoken word at Shakespearian levels), act, beatbox, make his own beat, and edit to name a few. No 2 songs sound alike. Ren is a stylebender with MANY bangers!

Ren speaks about truths and he's genuine. He really means what he's saying. In a world full of fakeness that's golden.

In case you didn't notice, that was a live performance shot with multiple cameras. He had 4 attempts to do it before he got kicked out of the location, so they had to edit some of the video together near the end, but the music was from a single live performance.

In my opinion Ren is the greatest artist in the musical business today. there are lots of geniuses today but ren transcends all because of the hundreds of thousands of people that have had their lives saved, changed, helped, bettered. no other musical geniuses can say that, keep going down the ren path.

I am still watching your reaction, He is a lyrical genius and has a tragic story. I post this small explanation should give you a little incite. A lot of his music deals with his past illness. He is very very intelligent and pretty much a regular bloke in his vernacular.. LOL Ren has been through some nasty shit, I copied this and post it on new reactors messages. He was bitten by a tick when he was 16 or 17 He got really sick from it and went to doctors and they could not figure what was wrong with him. When he had joint pain, muscle spasms, skin rashes, boils, internal organs started shutting down, And Doctors had no idea what was going on. He was loosing weight and had constant fatigue could not even stand to shower.. Doctors started sending him to psychological evaluations, They told him his mind was making him sick ! And started treating him for that with some heavy pharmaceuticals. And all that shit really fucked with his mind, He started believing he was crazy. And this went on for 8 fucking years !! 8 YEARS !! He pursued his own symptoms and lead to a Doctor that gave test for Lyme disease. Where he lived it was very rear to ever contract Lyme disease so he was never tested. When he went in described his symptoms the Doctor knew what he had. Ran the DNA test and found it in his system. However it has been in there for 8 years and has done a lot of damage to his body. He can only eat like 6 things his bones still hurt and the autoimmunity may never be healed. He had to go into surgery to remove tissue to generate stem cells grown outside his body then under go treatment taking the stem cells to help with the autoimmunity and help heal his deterioration of muscle, and a very aggressive antibiotics regiment to cure the Lyme disease chromosome. That was in LA then he went to Calgary and under going treatment on the damage the Lyme left.. He is still there until June. Welcome to Ren he is a talent I have never seen. And I have seen a LOT !! He has 209 songs on u tube no joke I pretty much like them all new and old !! His older lyrical videos are great try, everybody drops,

Attacked his body and started causing internal damage. And that damage is what brought everything on that he is still dealing with..

All of which is true but it doesn’t mean that Ren might not have been bitten when he ever was say 5 years old. This disease can remain almost dormant and undetectable for decades, it’s often not like a Hollywood movie as you seem to believe, no doubt how gratifying that may be to imagine.

I'm 65 years old and went through a lot of hard times, which is part of the reason why Ren resonates with me so much. (The other part is that I just plain love his music. 🤠) What you said about trials and tribulations is so true, and one of the biggest lessons I had to learn. If I had to live my life over again, I would also invite the trials and tribulations back. Because through them I learned the most and came to really appreciate life. Subbed! I have to apologize, I clicked on the thumbnail cause I saw someone doing Hi Ren for the first time, then I saw how young you were and a new channel, and haven't figured out your audio yet, and I have to admit, I almost clicked on to the next video, but something made me stay, and I'm very glad I did. First off, not to embarrass you, especially the young buck there, I know you don't wanna hear this from a dude or an old head, but you two make a very cute couple, not just in the normal sense, but I was very impressed with your manors towards each other, how you interacted and the obvious love there is between the two of you, very genuine, and very refreshing to see among the youth of today. Hey y’all. I’m watching you watch Ren. Figured I’d share some info on some mental health stuff. Most people don’t need to know this, because it’s just outside anything that most people run into. But I think since you’re watching Ren, it might be of value to you. Multiple Personality Disorder is the old name for it. But we understand the brain a bit more now, so they changed it to Dissociated Identity Disorder. Something truly horrible happens to a person, like watching your parents get killed, or your abusive father is a little drunker than normal, and he’s just being abusive in new ways… whatever the trauma is, the mind decides that you can’t handle it, so it invents another person to experience the trauma instead of you. Sometimes it’s not a whole personality, sometimes there’s an entirely different personality. But always this new identity is trying to protect the original identity. Sometimes the alters don’t care much about what happens to other people, but it’s never this kind of pessimism. And more importantly, the alters take over the body. So they can take the beating instead of you. They are always created in response to something in the world. Then there’s psychosis. This is mostly a problem with the physical brain. Tumor, got hit in the dead. Ren got Lyme disease, and his doctors misdiagnosed him. Lyme disease is a bacteria in the brain, and the immune system starts attacking healthy body. Ren went 10 years, and they gave him medicine that cures what they THOUGHT he had, but it does nothing for the bacteria in his body. He went years in his hospital bed. For a while, he couldn’t walk (which is why he’s in the wheel chair in the video), and the Lyme disease was attacking his brain. So he became psychotic. (psychology doesn’t mean serial killer, it just mean there’s a delusion that you believe, usually with hallucinations.). The other personality does not want you to succeed. The good news is this other identity cannot take control of your body, it just whispers in your ear. Sorry if that sounded weird. I did a really good summary on someone else’s reaction channel, but my creative juices aren’t flowing right now. That said, I suggest that you react to Neil Hilborn’s poem “OCD”. I find it interesting how people see 'good' Ren as the real Ren and 'bad' Ren as not being Ren. The whole point of the song is that both are Ren... and all of us. Some people also see it being about mental illness, though the song makes clear and Ren himself has said, that it's about the human condition generally. Both mental illness AND chronic illness are mentioned because he's explaining through the lens of his own life, in which both loom large. However he also references lots of other things. Most notably, his music, his thoughts and religious imagery but the song isn't specifically about any of those things either, except as personal interpretations. The song is about how we, as human beings, all face internal and external struggles. Darkness is merely part of life, part of existence, part of us. It helps to shape who we are. Nor is it necessarily all bad. Though it's not a message we want to hear while in the midst of darkness, doubt, suffering or pain. Something good or postive nearly always emerges from such periods, often in unexpected ways. It's not something that can be banished, it's part of life and once we accept this simple, if unpalatable fact, life becomes that little bit easier and the darkness easier to mitigate, generally speaking. Trying to banish it merely leads to frustration, as it's not possible, so don't waste time and energy attempting to do so. Besides which, without struggle we wouldn't have progressed as a species and without struggle we don't develop as individuals. Ren's pretty much said all of this himself in various interviews. Btw, Ren's not a believer but he enjoys religious imagery, from many different religions and often uses it to illustrate his ideas. :)
