Yeah, I think a lot of people miss some of the references, like the atomic section of the lyrics -> Breaking Atoms by Main Source (Large Professor). People don't make the connection that Large Professor made the beats for Halftime, but Ren is a producer too, so he gave the nod to Large Professor.

I think half of Ren's appeal is his obvious enjoyment of words; the only rapper I know of who would use "the bee's knees" in a song.
