„Akin ka na“ means „(you are) with me/mine“, „lang“ is a kind of wish-form that turns it into „please be mine“ or „just be mine“. „Hangang“ is „until“. „giliw“ means „(my) love“. The end of the verse is „hangang akin ka na, giliw“ - „until you are mine, my love“. Tagalog also has this funny word duplication constructions: „araw“ means „day“, „araw-araw“ (where she makes the squeak) means „every day“ (somewhat comparable to the English „day-by-day“ or „day after day“, only that in Tagalog you just say „day-day“!)

Another great and emotionally captivating song by Mori in Tagalog is „gusto ko nang bumitaw“. Go for the „live version with band“, not the Wishbus version. (Other people might have a different opinion.) both Version do not have subtitles, but there are dual lyrics in Tagalog and English side by side on the web, so you might want to pull that up while listening.

BTW......you want a longer whistle tone?.....try her version of I WANNA KNOW WHAT LOVE IS on Myx Live.....it is about 16 seconds long !.....prepare to be flabbergasted.....
