Every adult in the UK knows this song word for word, it's an institution here, originally written by the guy guesting in the horn section Labi Siffre who's also sampled by Eminem's My Name Is
Cover versions rarely improve upon the original. This one is an exception. And its a pretty high bar as the original was decent.

The song was originally recorded in 1971 by Labi Sifre. Want to know what he looks like? That's him at the end of the line of violin players taking his dark glasses off and smiling at the end of the video. Nice touch by Madness there, a homage to the original artist.
